I've been playing ukulele a very long time (since the mid1970s), and after a while you just do things without much thought at all. It's an 8-beat pattern involving mixtures of percussive strums, stressed strums, miss-strums, and lots of syncopation ...but I think I vary it here and there too. Not very helpful I know! Sorry. It's based on the way Paul Simon played excerpts of this song in the soundtrack to the film, 'The Graduate'. I teach ukulele, but I'm guessing you don't live anywhere near Yorkshire, England?
