Until yesterday, I had never heard of Johnny Weir. Watching these videos just reaffirms words that I have often heard, "The best things in life happen while planning other things." Totally unforgettable!!!
He is the most artistic And skilled skater who has been in our skate and world athletic community for a long long time, what a gem! What a genius! Bravissimo, Johnny!!
I M WOMAN MARRIED I AGREE WITH YOU!GREETINGS FROM CROATIA FROM NUMBER 1 FUN OF J.WEIR! HE IS THE BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEST! GOODBYE! NICE TO MEET YOU!
I have known of Johnny Weir but just this past month with him commentating on Olympics I started a UTUBE adventure.. He is an artist on the ice. He is also never to be forgotten meant to be on the ice. He is a natural and his athleticism is also on display. Bravo.
He is so gifted. I have also wondered why he doesn't have a very good choreographer that would show his graceful classical style and strength in skating. I felt Sandra Bezic is one of the best choreographer in the skating world. What she did for Brian Boitano was awesome! She used Brian's lack of artistry and created (IMHO) a gold medal performance and for TL too.
@Ibelieveinmisoul He skates beautiful no matter what music it is to. I don't understand why the community as a hole seems to look down on him for being himself.
Tommy Wilcox. People that looked down on him are ignorant and scared of a person that they deemed not a "Normal" person. They are fearful of what they don't know or accept. Sad world we live in.
We must not pay any attention to what ignorant people say or, eventually, think !!! (When they are able to think, which does not happen often..... anyway....) 😀
This is perfect for him doing shows. Competitive skating is to stressful he’s not consistent in competition. He reminds me of John curry very expressive but John was the best.
@Ibelieveinmisoul I agree, I think is nice see he skating to music that he likes, but lately he´s not being as creative as he usedd to be, and this way his talent is not being shown in his exhibitions. I like the performance in this video, but there's something wrong (I miss speed insome parts). I miss him so much in competitions! But still he's the skater that I like the most.
That wasn't "one spin," it was an extremely difficult combination spin, with a death drop entry, four changes of position and change of feet. He also did a beautiful Ina Bauer, two very difficult step sequences, and his famous and unbelievably hard spider lunge. Did you actually watch the video?
Well, I couldn’t care less about what he is. What is important to me is that he is a beautiful and gifted human being and I admire him, and..... I am not gay !!! and...... I am totally enable to skate on the ice without falling down 😀😀😀
It's quite possible he turned himself into a rather clownish figure because no one in the skating community treated him like a clown, relegating him to bronzes or nothing at all, when he certainly skated and deserved better. Although, in their defense, his choreogaphor sucked.
Beautiful performance, he should have won many gold medals because he is one of the best.
He is technically brilliant, but he is so much more, he is a true artist.
HE IS THE BEST!
HE IS JHON TRAVOLTA ON ICE! BE COOL!
AMAZING!
He's a phenomenal athlete with incredible artistry. He always becomes one with the music. Bravo!!
Many times people forget he is super athletic...what he does on ice is BOTH artistic and athletic.
@@marlenemalin9808 oh, absolutely! He just makes insanely difficult moves seem effortless!
I could watch you skate all day. You're so beautiful. It's like butter came to life.
I can't help falling in love with him, he is amazing 😍 I could watch him skate for hours on end

... Probably because he is so gifted like no one.
Как всегда, хорош!!!:)
His choreography reminds me so much of Toller Cranston.
A really great skater. He can do lyrical and Lady Gaga!
That slide across ice....could be longer.......
Wow!
Shout out to David Shapiro too.
Johnny is sssooo good ❤❤❤❤❤
❤❤❤

The Rinks are so much smaller in these exhibition arenas that it is hard to get that speed up like one is able to do in a full size rink.
Often imitated, but no possibility of duplication!!
What is the first piece of music in this performance ?
Without Johnny Weir there would be no Phillipe Candelaro, Adam Rippon or Jason Brown. He opened the door for artists.
he did two jumps, one of which he messed up on. He did one spin. A lot of sad music and spotlights and waving of arms and skating around dramatically.
That wasn't "one spin," it was an extremely difficult combination spin, with a death drop entry, four changes of position and change of feet. He also did a beautiful Ina Bauer, two very difficult step sequences, and his famous and unbelievably hard spider lunge. Did you actually watch the video?
he is so attractive. He must be gay!
He is
But try not to make assumptions

@@cadenharmsen8845 chill out it's a compliment..
Very talented. I am sorry that he now dresses so outrageously. He has become a bit of a freak. Sad to see.
the constant clapping alway through it was annoying..
