I can see why you people are frustrated with TTK. He is literally spraying their heads with automatic fire, and they take 5-6 headshots to kill.
9 shots with the FG42 at 100m, and that thing fires 8mm mauser from a kar98..
Sidearms are actually more powerful than primaries, it's sad. But at least it was a good excuse to quit this game after 700+ hours.

I honestly can't play this game anymore. It was perfect when the Pacific dropped and after a year I was truly satisfied with it. Then Dice decided to just annihilate my happiness. I went back on BF4 and now I am happy again...

It's funny how I finally came back to BF5 and enjoyed it with the launch of the Pacific and felt that it was finally living up to BF. Then the TTK patch was announced and I immediately dropped it. Based on the above footage, looks like that was the right call.

I was very good before 5.2 when I played. When I discovered a patch was coming to slow the game down Right after the amazing pacific update I decided I had enough. They tried to do this when the game came out and then stopped it. Now they are doing it again despite the community saying not to do it. It annoys me that they keep doing things in spite of what the base wants so I decided to stop playing.

The solution is recoil. Since ttk change they’ve pretty much made recoil non existent. The specs need to change as well. And bullet velocity. I can’t bring myself to use it because everyone else is using it.
I love watching a dedicated player have fun because I haven't had any since that update.
I've uninstalled after 5.2 and havent looked back.

The Type 2A situation is literally just the Automatico 2.0 before the damage overhaul which brought all the SMGs closer together.

Idk how they thought this ttk update would balance the game out. There is only 1 or 2 guns rn per class that are viable against try hards. In Bf1 every gun had a counter to it and each were lethal in their strengths. Currently in BfV hit markers are crazy at mid to long range unless using certain rifles. It’s so unrealistic atm...
They need to buff the damage of the thompson. .45 is bigger and does more ballistic damve than 9mm yet has the same damage as a 9mm
And how would you balance that?
@@maffin2917 Damage for caliber, and slow down dmg for meters x muzzle velocity, not for weapon class. I think.

I really like how on one hand DICE were like "We are going to increase TTK at range for no good reason" and simultaneously went "We will introduce the single most overpowered close (and even medium range, considering how stupidly accurate it is) quarters weapon." Whoever is making game design decisions needs to be given a bonk on the head.

Battlefield 5 is so broken right now. Type 2a and (seemingly) permanent spotting, derpy weapons balancing, the list goes on and on.

Shoots revolver 1 meter away: 50 damage
Shoots revolver 5 meters away : 40 damage
Any gun apart from maybe a shotgun will do the same damage at that range 😂

I played a few rounds. I come from Bf4. The thing that was most noticeable for me were the planes. Way more powerful than I ever imagine.
I know I'm late but the type 2a is still op today. It's the AEK (Bf4) of bf5. Fire rate is too fast and it outperformed every gun.

I feel your pain. Ive been using the mp34 a bunch lately. Not because its good, i actually think as far as smgs go it doesn't fit the roll well, but i just kinda like it. But dang do i feel outgunned by everything. Kinda reminds me of the pp2000 in bf4. Surprisingly good at range if u tap fire despite weak output

I am more shocked about the tanks with the splash damage on breakthrough.
I think they are called panzer 38 and staghound or something.
The range of the splash canon is like infinite and in breakthrough the defenders have no tanks at all until the last sector.
Me myself got around 400-500 kills with that tank I can remember getting blown up once and that was while I was lvling up for the splash canon upgrade.

I watch people playing BF5 like this and it makes me want to play it. So I boot it up and as I begin to make my way to any objective or in any direction...dead. Respawn, dead. Get a kill, instantly killed. Get on the objective, grenade or bomb from plane, dead. Crouch behind a wall, tank round, dead. It's just a whole lot of dead, dying and death for me.
