I just did my first LD ride (25 miles) April 24. Up in Decatur TX (USA). It was awesome. My horse is an 11YO, 14hh, Arab QH cross. And when I tell you she is a speed demon I mean SPEED. She LOVES to GO GO GO! She did amazing, was down almost right away. I love the Endurance riding community, they really care about their horses. But unfortunately, there is always the bad apple in the bunch. BUt, I can say from experience (Having been to both endurance rides and rodeos) that the Endurance community is a LOT less cut throat than a rodeo or play day. ANd they really DO care for their horses. Thank you!
