Great interview! Boogie is criminally underrated. The album is dope and he should be receiving more support from his peers, especially on the West Coast
LA really took over this year. Syd, Westside boogie, Buddy and Kendrick really went crazy. Honorable mention to Vince as well ( I liked the self titled better but RPBMH was good)

I don’t keep up with music much anymore but I will look now get out from under my rock. I like his personality..he’s funny. Therapy is so helpful. We all have daddy & mommy issues, shout out to everyone getting through it! 😁💯 ❤️
Okay. I ain’t got NOTHING but good things to say about this one here. WESTSIDE BOOGIE IS HERE. The better boogie. I can’t wait for the battle of the boogies🤫 #iykyk
My 2 cents I think this is the route Rory and Mal should go, interviewing/podding with underrated guys like Boogie. In the same vein of that alchemist/Earl pod, I’m sure they can’t get a guest every single pod but I think they shine the most with that formula
Definitely an artist I will be going back on, haven’t heard any projects yet to be honest but this interview is fire, boutta do some homework on WestSide 🔥🔥 and he hilarious Af 🤣😭
Boogie been outside tho i saw him open up for joey with buddy at santa cruz like 4 years ago at the catalyst! that dude was chilling by the door when people were leaving after the show just hanging out and just by saying whatsup for a second and shaking my hand I been a supporter of him since.
Mal Budden with the leg fold is nasty he better not start wearing Sombreros😂 Good job Salute to Boogie! Y’all speaking to a specific Generation! The in betweens of Social Media and Going Outside fr
Rory and Mal do good interviews with underground artists like boogie, I wanna see more of that kind of stuff. I also would e only seeing more of them traveling around the country/world
Dope interview, Glad Boog, finally getting the recognition he deserves. Hopefully you drop another thirst 48 as throw aways that didnt make this cut, everybody support his album. Rory n Mal killed this interview, dope shit ,hope you guys grab more artist that deserve this platform.
Random and off-topic but that one episode where they did a lyric break-down of Sean Kingston’s “Take You There” will forever be a classic moment on this pod 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
This will probably get lost in the comments but I really feel like this podcast community would like my music. It seems like there’s a missing artist for people who are self aware & still wanna have a good time. Either way, if you check it out cool, if not cool. Love the pod and what you guys bring to the table. I think this is the first natural “interviews” of the media
Bro what more of a look can shady give than eminem jumping on boogies first album and posting boog on his page everytime he drops.. that's the biggest rapper in the world (off numbers) posting you, rapping with you.. that's looks.
I don’t agree with rory when he said kendrick wasn’t outside since section 80, kendrick was most definitely outside for gkmc, tpab and DAMN that man was workin his ass off
Keep it up! I am dropping 1 song a week for the next 3 years straight. It has never been done in music. Come along for the ride if you want. Stay blessed ! - Bryan
I feel like Mal received the feedback from the last artist interview or he just liked this artist so he brought much more to the interview than laughing & saying childish one-liners like “I’m Black!” & “Have some Pride! It’s Pride Month.” He has much more insightful input & well thought out questions… For once it didn’t feel like Rory was carrying the whole interview
@@qjdavis yeah, I think as an artist he likes Westside Boogie more. But as a person, Mal was definitely have a good time with Logic at Nobu lol. I just feel like when this is your job, you should take it serious like this every time when you invite a guest on your podcast. Rory doesn’t waste a good interview. Mal just embodies the “Soft Life” the majority of the time & doesn’t put in effort.
Nah Justice 100% right. The lyrical rappers gotta be OUT THERE. I see 100 random small rappers and know they name before these bigger more talented rappers like Boog get a listen.
“She used to be throwing that wagon” is CRAZY 😭
Shit had me dyin bro LMAO.
I'd love to hear Vince staples and boog in a podcast together 😂
Boog telling the homeless man “keep killing it” 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Lmao Niggas just be on auto reply sometimes 😭
Not only is Boogie one of the dopest new artists but he’s also hysterical 😂😂

Justice is right , kendrick and cole were outside a lot during the beginning, cole was doing concerts for a dollar entry lol
At major venues btw
Swear I could listen to Justice all damn day. Man is an absolute treasure and a credit to us as a culture/people/art and so much more I am certain.
Westside Boogie, Wale and Big Krit the most slept on rappers of my life

nonchalant is my favorite song off the album, all of it is fire
I got a lot of gems out of this. Especially being healed and it not attracting black women. Feeling afraid to not create after healing. Shit is wild
Rory on Fantano - "he looks like me if I let myself go". MAN DOWN, MAN DOWN! lmfao
Westside Boogie last album, in MY opinion was a classic. This dude is the truth!

Pretty much no skips ,
it was instant for me. and that was my first time hearing him been my favorite ever since
