Hey! It was right on the patong beach front! The actual stop is (bear with me here) if your looking at the ocean turn left and go almost to the end, it's accross the road from a 7-11. But the bus drives all the way along the beach before heading to phuket so you can flag it down really easily, that's how most others got on!
Songthaews turned out to be a super efficient way to get around 10/10 will ride again!
