I can’t be the only one who forgets that xhaka is playing sometimes just off the fact that of the attacking 5, he’s just always floating about playing the right passes and making the right decisions, whilst the others are usually doing the ‘Hollywood’ side of things that are highlighted by pundits/fans etc. Sounds like an insult but it’s actually compliment because he’s arguably the most consistent and least error prone player in the team this season. Can’t think of a time I’ve thought “wow that’s on xhaka”
I know what you mean definitely credit to Arteta and Xhaka… every time needs a player that’s consistently under the radar but playing a vital part, Paul Scholes was a great example quality player but the other always got the plaudits
Gentlemen. What a team we've got here mates. I haven't had real, genuine belief in an Arsenal side like I do now for at least a decade and a half. Basically since we moved to the Emirates. Not on the level I have with this Arsenal team anyway. The togetherness among the players and manager, the chemistry, the winning and fighting mentality, in addition to the technical abilities and quality of the football.. I'm blown away. Like Moh, I honestly expected the winning goal to come as well. This is a composed, mature side despite the very young squad age. As for White's struggles in the match. I think it's a one-off. He's been brilliant all season. My gut tells me it was a concentration/mental issue, rather than anything particular to Utd's tactics or players. I'm speculating hard here, but consider the impact, even if slight, that the Trossard signing may have had. As a former teammate at Brighton, Ben likely took the lead on helping to bed him into the club and ease his adjustment because he's a friendly face to Trossard. White and Trossard were probably also communicating with each other about the move leading up to the deal being finalized as well. This might have just thrown off his concentration and/or mental preparation going into the match ever so slightly. They're humans and like all humans, they settle into habits and routines. When there are disruptions or slight breaks, some people feel a bit frazzled mentally. Might have just thrown off white's usual concentration a tad. Of course, he could have just had an off day at the office and it's as simple as that. I'm just trying to put myself in White's shoes and trying to imagine shouldering some of the burden for helping Trossard settle and become part of the squad in the days leading up to the Utd match, while also remaining mentally focused on the game plan and preparations
Big up the lounge 👊🏽👍🏼 lovin your shows and this one was very sweet indeed! We do need to stop that thing where we let a lead go after 5-10 mins. Ooh and stop givin em the ball! 😂 But I take the 3 points and lets go win the next. Big up these Subs coz this channel is like Ben White... WELL UNDER-RATED😜😜
if Martinelli stats to fire like he used to at the start of this season it will give us a massive leap towards winning the title, i hope he can figure it out n starts to deliver ..
Shahin couldn't make the show because he's busy putting together a beautiful collage of Odegaard pictures that he will tastefully arrange on his empty corkboard on the wall. I hear he's calling it "An Øde to Ødegaard's Special Moments" and will include some of his own personal sketches and paintings of the player, which he's been quietly creating in his free time since the player joined on a permanent. However, Shahin's sketches of Odegaard posing in the nude (a collection he's titled "Nudegaard") will likely remain private for the time being.
do you guys think Arteta doesnt make enough subs during the game? i hope he starts to give our promising players a chance to help the team more, ESR, Marquinhos, F Vieira, Tierny all has qualities but needs minutes to show it just like Eddie, timing of when and agaisnt which opposition is key though, at the moment Arteta seems to like playing it too safe imo

Indeed

I felt the win over Utd was more due to grit and belief rather than pure class and control we’ve shown in earlier games!
Yeah, wudda been very easy if we stopped giving them the ball! lol but I take the 3 points 👊🏽
