Oh man, this is not a short film. This is a real piece of an art 🙂 You're on my list most favourite creators with level of skills I aspire to. How do you colour grading your footages (DaVinci, some LUTs, etc )?
Thanks so much man! This comment is everything🤍🤍 I graded in Davinci using a Davinci Wide Gamut space and then a Kodak lut plus a lot of tweaking.
@@JakubChlouba Thx for the information 🙂
La rompieron todos 🥹👌🏾✨

A gorgeous film, loved the sound design, colour grading, everything! And as a Buenos Aires native, you really captured the city's feel.
I only recently found your channel, but you're one of my favourite filmmakers on RUclips. Your hard work and passion really shine through your work.
Thank you so much Julieta for such a beautiful comment and for taking the time to express yourself, I really appreciate it! :) Buenos Aires is one of my favourite places so I'm glad I captured the energy well.

First of all, I was hooked from the first second to the last, absolutely fantastic storytelling! But on top of that you’ve put images, compositions and colors in my head I won’t forget so quickly.
Just a beautiful piece of cinematography, what else can I say, so proud seeing this brother! 🙌❤️
Thanks so much my friend🥹 so glad you liked it❤️
Wow, this is such a great short film. Story, cinematography, colour, sound design were all on point. How long did it take to shoot and edit everything? You can really tell how much work went into it, well done! 👏
Thanks Richard! :) I filmed it over a period of 2 months in Buenos Aires. In total, we did like 10 filming days but only a few hours on each of those days. The post-production was spread over a period of about 8 months as I could only work on a few hours a week.
@@JakubChlouba The time and effort really shows!
This is a great looking video. I loved my S1 but sold it to get S5 iix but I sure miss the camera. Love the Wong Kar-wai vibes, too!
Thanks a lot man! S5 iix is a very solid camera! I might also get it soon:)
I really appreciate the Wong Kar-Wai compliment ❤️
Otro nivel!! Congrats Jakub! ❤️
Gracias Santi! :)
Very nice documentary! Keep it up 🙂
Thanks a lot! :)
Well done mate! For my personal taste you went a bit hard on the halation :) Keep it up! looking forward to new stories.
Thanks, brother! Good to know for next time :)
Wow 4:20 i hope they were not the original photos... Can you explain this footage ? Did you print a copy of these ?
Any pointers about how to start diving into sound design? Good videos? Teachers? Do you get the sounds from the web? Cheers
Find a good sound designer hahaha😂 other than that, find films/commercials that you like the sound design of and then try to create something similar. I have Lens Distortions SF pack and also use Artlist.
@@JakubChlouba Haha YES great idea!! Didn't see the end credits! Collaboration is key!
What kind of Mist Filter did you use?
In most scenes none, I used Canon FD lenses and they are pretty soft. I might have used a 1/8 promist in some of the night scenes but i’m not sure tbh😀
@@JakubChlouba great! As I wrote in another comment, this is by far one of my fav and inspiring shortfilm. Totally love the mood and the storytelling.
@@sebastianweinurnberg77 thanks so much man, it really means a lot to me to hear that it resonated with people :)
