I had this game when I was a kid (birthday present by family) and don't think I got further than the ocean 😂 thanks for letting me know it wasn't such a long game.
I had a friend for a few years who claimed to be TERRIFIED of those bears, based on the manner in which they moved and their weird poses. So like a complete jerk I pulled up a picture of them the first time we met off the internet. He doesn't talk to me anymore! Not necessarily because of that. Maybe. Curiously, the only other sight he claimed to be afraid of was the character that blocks a door and then flies through the ceiling once you bring the right item in the NES version of Hook, which thankfully is NOT the version played at agdq2023. I don't recall going out of my way to show that happening. Though I'm not particularly fond of it either.
*breathes in and out deeply*

Mickey Mouse
First of all
As a child, this game was a horror game to me. I used to be scared of the crow through out the game.
Absolutely. Something about the music and sound effects were disturbing, too. The bears in the forest also scary af.
I was scared of the crow too and the loud noise it made!
You open a chest to get a key?
it makes slightly more sense than opening a key to get a chest.
Isn't that ass backwards ?!
Isn’t that ass backwards?

Mickey Mouse
Mickey Mouse...
Mickey mouse?
love seeing the old nes games. had this game as a kid. i got to the castle, but never finished. bravo.
Mickey Mouse.
I remember that troll chest in the first level from when I was a kid. I could never figure out what I was doing wrong with it!
Mickey Mouse?
Cathartic seeing the game beaten so easily when it felt so impossible as a kid.
What the heck is with these wall grenades? You'd think they'd explode a little bit bigger.

The heck is up with this game
I could never get past level 3 as a kid
I’m not the only one who’s never seen past lvl 2 (the ocean)… right?
