I have Ataxia and it's very important to stay positive and keep thriving. Don't focus on want you can't do but want you can. Do something everyday, occupational, speech and physical therapy. Meditaion and plenty of support from family and friends.

Since my stroke in 2020: Very poor balance, trouble walking, right arm doesn't work correctly. Can't bend, squat, kneel or write. Need to use a sock helper and hands-free shoes. It takes me about 4-5 hours to get ready in the morning. Very fearful of falling especially in the shower. I try to think about how God plans to correct all this suffering someday in his own time. But it is still hard.

It means life will never be the same again. Many adjustments to be made. Takes awhile to accept and get on with the rest of life. Learn all you can about this new reality.

Good job. Too bad nobody with FA was represented though.
