I know people who have been chased away from home (dzokera kwawabva kinda thing) end up living with someone that is toxic and didn't really love them. The proper way is to seat down and have a heart to heart talk highlighting the dangers associated with improper behavior. I understand that the mom doesn't want her to end up in a similar like hers but she didn't say it, she angry and punishing. Who knows what Tendai does if he comes to pick her up.
