East Broad Top 16: Easter on the Old Eastie

After over 11 years of silence, steam returned to the East Broad Top. In February of 2023, East Broad Top 16 made its first revenue runs in the excursion era of the railroad. Nearly a month and a half later, 16 made its second appearance of the year, pulling 4 roundtrip excursions to Colgate Grove for the railroad's "Easter On The Rails" event.
On this warm, windy April day, the freshly restored 16 pulled four brand-new coaches along with a caboose. The locomotive and train looked great, allowing for many great photographic opportunities along this legendary line. So sit back, relax, and enjoy one of 16's first runs during this historic year for the East Broad Top.

@@MPT_Productions15s tender is being replaced with a brand new one. Welded with exterior rivets for 1914 appearance. Her running gear will take about about a year to refurbish
