Hi. Great video, great motorhome. I have a 2024 Swift Voyager 594 automatic. In the UK. One tip be aware of is the low slung water pipes and tanks when going over rough ground. Good luck with your motorhome. By the way, we also have a Jimny. Clive.
Hi mate. Thanks for your comment. Firstly, we are so excited to have a comment from someone in the UK. We just looked up a Swift Voyager 594 and watched a video about it. Very nice! That tunnel boot will come in handy. Thanks for the tip about the water pipes - it's easy to forget they are there! And how good are the Jimnys!!! They are so much fun. Thanks again for your comment and for watching our channel 👍🏻
I’m so glad it wasn’t just us that took days to pack our motorhome too 🤣 We asked our salesman for the final weight from factory and he was able to look it up on the computer. In our glove box after handover I found two tiny pieces of paper that had the front and rear axle weights on them when they weighed it. But we don’t know what the axle weights should be when fully loaded so we distribute the weight properly.
Hi Roxanne. Thanks for your comment. Glad to know we weren't the only ones too! 🤣 We found the little piece of paper from the factory with the tare weight that read 3772kg. Luckily we have the Jimny toad so we can shuffle the weight around if needed. Enjoy your travels and thanks for watching. 🙏🏻😊
Hi guys love your posts, we have found then to be the most informative videos so far for Jayco Motorhome but the in a humorous way. I mentioned RedFoot levellers in a previous post. Maybe it was helpful. I noticed you have a Suzuki Jimney Is that your tow vehicle? Is that you tow vehicle. Can you post a little bit of information about that . How do you find it , where did your tow hitch from? Do you find the Jimmy under powered and is yours automatic? I have also heard you have to do something to the gearbox for flat towing???? Keep the videos coming and hopefully see you on the road.
Hi Matthew. Thanks for your comment. We are so happy that you are finding our episodes helpful. Yes, we did consider the RedFoot levellers but having now weighed our vehicle, we realise that we won't have the weight capacity as they weigh roughly 80kg. Yes the Jimny is our tow vehicle. We have an episode coming up that will show you what's involved in setting it up for towing and the fitting of the Predator A frame system and dog clutch. We had Custom Towbars fit our system who are the accredited fitters for Northcoach. Our Jimny is an automatic and it's not the most powerful 4WD on the road but it's a really capable off-road vehicle. We've put it through its paces in a number of our previous episodes and found it to be a really fun vehicle to drive. Thanks for watching 👍🏻
A black rubber door stop from Bunnings screwed to the inside of the spice rack door in line with the shelf fits perfectly to stop the sliding 👍🏻i just don’t weigh ours . Ignorance is bliss 😂
Mitch, you are a genius. First job today is a trip to Bunnings for a door stop. Charchy still can't find the 'secret drawer' under the drivers seat. Is that because it's a secret? 🤣
@ just don’t screw through the front of the cupboard door . Check the screw size 👍🏻it is a secret. 🤫 there is a pull down flap and the drawer pulls out . 😂😂
Not much spare... what was your tare weight, (normally 3750 before options) was water full? also try not to drive with the blinds or insect screens closed on roof hatches, can increase sag faster
Hi there, thanks for your comment. We haven't been able to work out the tare weight. There is a plate in the engine bay that has all sorts of numbers on it. The water and fuel tanks were full. Thanks for the tip about the blinds. We made so many rookie errors on our first shakedown and you'll see those in an upcoming episode. Thanks for watching. 🙏🏻
Hi Tony. Yes, there's not much left over but we do have a few heavy items in there like the Bluetti solar panel (21.6kg) and the Bluetti itself weighs 28.3kg too. We also have a smaller Bluetti, a fire pit and some pretty hefty camp chairs that we don't want to part with. We have the Jimny as a tow vehicle so we can shift some of this weight to it if needed. Thanks for watching 🙏🏻
Hi Mark. Thanks for your question. There is a plate in the engine bay but we haven't been able to work it out. Plus, the weight varies according to the options that are fitted. 👍🏻
after all options have been fitted, and the motorhome is about to leave the factory they will weigh it and give you the receipt in your paperwork. this is considered your tare weight.
Hi Annette. You are absolutely right! I guess it's all individual as to what stuff people pack. We have a few heavy items that can be moved to the Jimny if needed. Definitely need to be careful though. Thanks for your comment and for watching. We really appreciate it 😊

So 60kgs under, it doesn’t take much does it?
Enjoy your travels

What was the factory weight they gave you?

@@markjohns4826 Awesome. Thanks for that. We’ll check it out and get back to you 🙏🏻👍🏻
@@markjohns4826 Found the little slip of paper. Our tare weight was 3772kg 👍🏻
And you still need to add the weight of the dog to !!
Yeah mate. Tonka weighs in at about 28kg 🫣
Wow, your not going to be able to pack much beer 'n wine : (
Lol. Maybe we can stock the Jimny full 🤔
Wow you could easily go,over weight if all cabinets were full.
