Thanks for the excellent video Jason. I've done Fraser and beaches in northern NSW but never done Bribie. You've given all us viewers a really good insight.
Hey Tony, yeah would like to do those beaches one day. What are they like? Similar to Bribie? Yeah bit steep at $50, but I bought a yearly haha - as it's the closest 4x4 beach to me. Thanks for watching - hope you enjoyed 😊
@@ImJasonFish Watch out for Teewah to Rainbow Beach, the tides come up fast and beach is quite narrow (Rainbow side). I'm pretty sure we only got just about 4 hours window, 2 hour each side of low, I almost got stuck on rainbow beach...North Straddy main beach is more friendly, i think 3hrs each side of low at least. But beach entrance wise, straddy is softer while Teewah is firmer. Quite a few newbie drivers stuck at straddy entrance every time I went there. Fishing wise can't comment, I'm only new to lure fishing. Thanks to your video I learned heaps, picked up a Daiwa double clutch 95 to trial out, haha. Thanks for sharing and I look forward to your future upload.
Thanks for the info Tony. Would like to take the family to North Straddy for a weekend trip - Do some beach driving, check out the local sites and fishing haha. Let me know how you go with the Double Clutch - an fantastic lure which won't disappoint you 👍
@@ImJasonFish will do! If you heading to Straddy, remember to take some squid jigs with you. This time of the year, there is no shortage of squid at Amity point jetty. I went there early July last year and caught quite a few night time. Also early morning if tide is right, people catching Mackerel from the jetty using live bait, reckon they would love Double Clutch like your recent upload, but will be their bigger cousins, upgrade leader maybe. Tight line and have fun!
Excellent video. It brought back memories of my 4wheel driving days 40 years ago. There was a garage within a few kilometres of the beach & I would pump up the tyres there. I found the portable pumps were not equal to the task of pumping up large tyres. Overheating & took ages. I also did not run on the beach with a full fuel tank to reduce weight. Your entry-exit was reasonably flat. Mine was up a long steep grade. Made more difficult by drivers grinding away near the top & digging holes with overinflated tyres. Those were the days. Tanks or sharing.
Hey mate, glad that you enjoyed it. Technology has certainly advanced in 40 years 😂 Make sure to get back amongst it if you get the chance. Thanks for watching 😊
10/10 video! OMG the best! I do not have one bad thing to say about this video! It is 11 out of 10 content. I liked the bit where you put air in the tyres and when you went fishing. Easily a 15 out of 10 in my books!

thats a fancy vehicle u got. looks so daunting to drive through the soft sand. awesome catches off the beach. have u considered using circle hooks? great to keep the fish on plus always gets at the corner of the mouth
Hey mate! Its so much fun. If you ever get the chance - definitely go! I got bogged my first time out, but been a couple times now - so I've built up my confidence (y) Thanks for the tip, I'll look into it! Cheers for watching 😊

Nice video! I got a MUX. Have been to Teewah and North Stradbroke, Bribie's beach access permit is quite steep for under a week.

I thought the same about the beach permit cost, but at least you don't have to pay the barge cost.
Beautiful day for a trip
