ADIDAS ADILETTE COMFORT SLIDES VS ADILETTE BOOST SLIDES

- For the longest time when it came to “sandals”, my preference was flip flops from brands like Reef and Rainbow. This stemmed from growing up in Southern California, but when the adidas Adilette Boost Slides dropped, everything changed. Since then I’ve worn the hell out of them, but I’ve also been told by several people that the Boost Slides don’t compare to the Adilette Comfort Slides. Well I’m here to say that I think they’re right, these Comfort Slides are insanely comfortable, but will the “comfort” last? Let me know what slides you’re rocking with and if you enjoy the video, please leave a 👍🏽. #adidas #boostslides #comfortslides
I bought like 5 pairs of those comfort slides for like $12 each back a couple years ago when they were on sale. One of the best purchases I ever made.
Your most definitely right my man. I went and tried both at my local running store, The comfort slides were definitely way more comfortable. I went in wanting the boost slides, but left with the comfort slide.
I had mine for 4 years!! and still had day one comfort to the end. The only reason I brought a new one, is because the trap broke. So bless adidas still has these in stock. Nothing can replace these shoes, NOTHING!
It's a solid slide for the price no doubt!
I’ve had the comfort for about a year now and they still feel great, I’m usually on slides most of the time so they have several miles on them already, so yeah great option imo
That’s good to hear, appreciate the info Brando!
What about the sizing on the comfort slides?? I use 10 on ultraboost
Manuel Orellana size up and get 11, I also wear 10 in ultraboost but 11 in these slides.
I've worn my comfort slides literally daily for the last 2 years and they are still as comfortable as the day I got them. They're worn out a lot so I've just ordered a new pair, but 2 years daily wear and still rocking is damn good value! Thanks for another great video.
I got mine in 2019, got pretty worn out now. So trying to find a new pair for cheap.
Do you get them wet? Like not completely soaked but maybe put wet feet in them, do they start to stink after that?
@@apotato513 not at all
Is it true to size?
Have had mine over a year and still sooooooo comfy
Good to know 👊🏽
Same, best slides by a mile for the cost value!
Which one
@@therjscott Great video do you know which Adidas slides run wide?
I've had my Adilette comforts since July 2020 and wear them all day, every day (W@H). No break down of the footbed so far. My bullie has chewed away a good portion of one band, but still wearable.
The comforts are insaneeely comfy and they stay that way for a very long time (i’ve had mine for three years). The one big downside is that the foam is so dense and soft (which is what it makes it comfortabe) that if you get them wet, they take FOREVER to dry and they stink afterwards.
so are you saying they aren't good slides to take to the beach/pool?
Mine stayed comfy for around 3 years
@@Cannibalsdefinitely get the waterproof grippy adidas shower slides for pools. Aint as comfy but cheaper and waterproof
Huge slide guy over here, great video, great insight gonna have to check them out for sure
Appreciate the kind words and let me know if you snag them bro!
Comforts are amazing but they suck up sweat and smell eventually with no way of of getting rid of sweat ...I also wore a brand new set round the pool and I threw them at the end of week as the cloud foam is porous, they absolutely stunk from the pool water and sun cream lotion
So you wouldn't recommend them if I plan to wet them
I wasn’t aware slides were such a big thing! Lmao I wasn’t aware they were called slides lmao I always called them sandals till I went shopping today with a friend and she explained the difference between sandals and slides lol
But being new to this, I’m currently wearing my Jordan Retro 4s I got back in maybe in 2012 or 2013? for 49.99 and they are beat up and ugly looking, but are still so comfortable and look like they will be wearable for a few years still! But today I purchased the Hydro 5 Retros in white, red and black, I hope they lady as long!! But based on the fact that they are white, I don’t wanna wear them daily and the guy at Foot locker told me the adidas are just as comfortable as the Jordan’s for half the price and that’s how I ended here! I think ima order them adidas for a daily slide and I found them in blue, black and grey in Amazon for 19.99.
I got a pair of comfort slides with a super plush strap they were called the cf+ explorer. I have worn them off and on for 2+ years and they have not broken down or become mushed in anyway.
I need a pair asap!!
I could never find the ones with foam on strap thanks
Bruh those are $500.
@@therjscott is there a 'comfort plus' that's different from the 'comfort'?
I’ve owned a lot of slides, these are the best. The adjustable strap version do have cushion under the top part. I did get mine too wet on a trip and they quickly stunk and I couldn’t figure out how to clean them. The only negative to me is the lack of waterproof factor. But for $35, just replaced them
They still stink even if you wash them?
Love the slides and your socks !
Which one the best for everyday use , comfort or cloudfoam plus?thankyou for answering.
Pretty sure the new comfort sides released have the new strap!
I think you're correct, Thanks for watching!
I've had my cloudfoam for almost 2 years... they do not lose their "form"... I'm 195lbs just for reference.
Good to know, and I appreciate you checking out the video. Take care!
Damn 195lbs. That's a great review to tell these are a great buy
I wasn’t a fan of the Nike slides, but that doesn’t mean you’re not allowed to be, right? Thanks again for watching!
I have the boost, cloud foam, and the comfort slides.
Comfort slide: I have to say, the comfort slide is nice around the house because it's so soft, IMO softest of all three. However, they deform too much for "too much" walking, and I much prefer the other two to say groceries or whatever. Extended standing will usually cause a hot spot around the heel too.
Cloud foam: These are actually my favorite. They're not as soft as the comfort, but they make up for it with the support it provides. Soft =/= comfort, support which distributes the weight can actually be better (Birkenstock is a good example of good support -> comfort, which you should try too. You can also think layer memory foam with support base is better than an ultra-soft block of foam).
Boost: Basically a happy middle ground, but I still find it gives a little too much on the heel/doesn't have the same level to arch support.
Before anyone tries to roast me for overcomplicating slides, don't forget these are $60 slides.
Hey man, definitely appreciate the in depth input and I pretty much agree with everything. Boost slides for me are the happy medium and the only pair I've continued to put wear into. Thanks again Jay!!
Nice review of all three. Thanks!
People say comfots smell , does boost smell too sweat or so?
Mine have never become indented or lost their luster. 👊🏽💯
I know this is a long time ago, but I just got the comfort adjustable slides and damn, super duper comfy. I can adjust the strap to however tightness or looseness I want, I can make it happen. I love these slides!
Do they still feel good?
Great video. Thanks so much. Are they true to size? I’m an 11 in ladies runners so wondering if I should get an 11 i these or do they run big?
regarding the traction and durability would you recommend the comfort or the boost?
Great vid just what I was looking for. Please do more on sliders
Maybe, we'll see what comes out in the coming months!
nice review dude, love the video
The adidas comfort slides I got are the strapped version and they do seem to have some padding on the top on em
Thank you for this, I wanted to know the difference.
adillette comfort is the best .. bought mine in 2018 and just bought a new one this march 2020
i had a pair of sandals that had cloadfoam material that was so pillow soft with the look of the adissage strap ...but i cant find it on the adidas website. i bought the sandals probably 4 years ago
I have a black pair for outside and a white pair for inside of the Adilette slides. Big fan and I wear both at some point every day. Great informative video for those thinking of buying these. These slippers are tough and good quality. Just got to say though I'm also a fitted fan/collector and the way the top of your ears are tucked inside the hat is giving me anxiety
The slide that has a cloud foam footbed and the strap you were talking about exists its actually the adidas adilette comfort black and white
Are cloudfoam slides straps sown? Or is it glued to the rubber? I’m worried the strap might come off if it is glued cuz I want to clean mine with water and soap. Thanks!
Currently which do you find the most comfortable without price in the equation?
I neeeeed to know if an adidas shoe has the cloud plus feel. Comfort slides are the most comfortable thing I’ve ever put on my feet and a shoe has to have this right???
What is a comfort slide? I can't find these in the uk. Are they called something different here? Aqua slide?
The Adidas Comfort Slides is pretty comfortable and plush but I feel that it will eventually bottom out since the Cloudfoam isn't thick. I purchased the Nike Offcourt Slides instead because it has a thicker foam. It's pretty soft too but not as plush as the Cloudfoam. I needed something that has a bit of balance between soft and firm to support my feet after a run. Also, I feel the Nike Offcourt Slides to be more structured and durable compared to the Adidas Adilette's. With the Offcourt slides, you need to size up. My size in the Adilette's is Men's 9 in the Nike Offcourt's I'm a 10.
I haven't tried to off court slides, I have so many damn pairs at this point, but maybe I'll give them a whirl. Appreciate the input, thanks for watching!
Sweet review! I agree, the Cloudfoam on the Comfort ones is so soft it is amazing! However they are too narrow for me. :( What slides do you recommend for wider feet? And I prefer to be closer to the ground, much like flip flops.
Nike Offcourt slides ✌️
I just bought a pair of Adilette Comforts and LISTEN. They are easily the most comfortable slides I've worn, and I've had plenty of Jordan Hyrdo Slides and the LeBron slides with the Air Max unit. I got the grey pair and will have to cop the black one too.
You’re right man, they’re mad comfy, especially right outta the box. That foam is as soft as it gets. Appreciate you checking out the video!!
Did you go TTS?
@@latorriam5912 I did! They fit me perfectly
Comfort slides. For sure. Especially for the price. I only wear mine in the house. It's been 2 years. I also work from home lol. I switch between boost slides and shower.
Would you recommend the boost slides @ $39.99. Im looking at getting a new pair and I've always gone the nike route. Im debating the two right now "boost V comfort" i know you said that the comfort wins due to price but i can grab the boost for $39 bucks versus 35 for the comforts. Thanks for the content!
Boost slide all the way, where'd you find them for that price?
@@julianhasler1505 I ended up getting both lollol i paid 55 bucks for a pair of boost and comfort slides, not to shabby! It was a local sporting goods shop.
@@jjirish81 and which ones are better? I'm also looking for some comfy slides but can't get boost slides for less than 55 bucks, which ones do you recommend?
@@julianhasler1505 to be honest, the adidas superstar 3, 4, 5G are the most comfortable slides I've ever had but they're extremely hard to find unless you wanna pay out the ass for em. I found a pair on ebay a month ago for a good price but their getting scarcer. The comfort slides are super comfortable and the newest version has padding on the tongue witch was a suprise cause the version in the video didn't have padding.
Have you tried nike asuna? Heard them pretty comfy
New subscriber 🔔.
I've had my comfort slides for over a year, i use them daily and i must say the comfortability is still there👣☁️😏👍🏼!
Appreciate the sub and the info on the slides. Glad they hold up for that long! Thanks again for watching!
How do they compare against Nike offcourt slides
Love the vid bro keep it up
Will do, Thank you!
any third party material i can buy/add to the strap underneath?
I think i have the other version of the adilette comfort slide because mine has a ton of padding on the strap and it also have different adidas logo on the strap. But yeah the cushion on these slide are crazy and they didn't bottom out at all even when i already used it for more than a year
CS never misses 😍
I had my comfort slides a few months ago and it feels tremendously comfortable. Nice review bro, greetings from Malaysia ! Btw, your face like Dani Alves hahaha jk. Keep up the great content !
Haha Dani Alves is a good looking dude, I'll take that as compliment. Thanks so much for watching!
is the adilette comfort slide guaranteed anti water slip or anti skid?
You seem like a good influencer. I am gonna buy a pair right now. Thanks man.
Hey dude may I ask what size are you wearing on both slides? Thanks
i have a cloth and vinyl strap on my adilette comforts with a bit of padding. It shouldn't sweat as bad as either leather or more foam rubber i think so there you go. FZ1750.
They used to put padding on the strap for the comfort slides i still have my pair. I tried purchasing a new comfort slide in 2019 and it came without the padding and wasn't as comfy still haven't worn it might give it away. Feels way less comfy then my old grey comfort slides with the padding. I have been searching for the slide that i still own because i want a new pair but do not see them anywhere. Seems adidas stopped making them with the padding.
Interesting...I’m still on the Boost Slide wave 🤙🏽
I have the same cloudfoam with padding and I totally agree. Have you tried the Bensassis from Nike? I'm curious if they're comfier
Is it a Problem if the Comfort slides get wet, because i live in Germany and we have many lakes around here, so i would use them to ride with my bycicle to the lake and wear them when my feet are wet?
It would be an issue if you don't clean them up here and there. They'll eventually start to smell bad and such if let to air dry over and over. Hope that helps, take care!
RJ Scott okay thanks for the reply, i didnt buy them yet but i think i will soon.
My favorite slide at the moment is the nike benassi solarsoft had them for atleast a year and still strong
Can’t do slides, but I hit the like button any way 👍
Hey thank you man, appreciate that!
Is the adillete good for beach/pool? I've heard that they stink bad once wet
The comforts are not waterproof, they make a specific shower slide for those situations.
I took my comfort slides to the beach several times , n never had bad smells
@@Jayztunning really? Even if you soaked it in the water
Hi. I’m about to buy comfort one. Does it suitable for shower use and what about drying time?
dont shower in these. just donttt
Neither of these are shower shoes, sorry!
Agreed.
For some reason adidas dont do padding on all the comfort slides but I have a couple pairs with padding and one without. Nike also do a version of the comfort slide, the strap is well padded but the foam isn't as soft.
Yea I'm not a fan of Nikes slides, gonna stick with my Boost slides for the time being. Definitely my go to pair right now!
Does the adillette comfort run big or tts?
Dude....I smoked the biggest joint.... And had this debate in my head lol... Love the video ✌️
someone have tell me that if the comfort silde get wet is will smell. what do you think
Love the video! I dont know if the slides have been already mentioned, but try out : Adilette Comfort GW0817
All other COMFORTs have a cushioned strap only these with blended logo are thin, but in my opinion it’s actually better cuz they flex easily
Definitely need the cushion imo!
@@therjscott I just picked up a pair of Comforts with the "Badge of Sport" logo for $18 and they have padding on the strap. Replaced the ones you had in the video that were too big so the padding is a big extra bonus. Down a 1/2 size is much better than up.
My concern is about breathability. The boost slides looks like it have a kind of textil on the sole that makes me think is a winner for me. I can’t wear plastic slides soles without socks and I don’t wear socks with slides.
Anybody can help me with my thoughts?
Hi for comfort, aqua and shower adilette what I know is that we need to buy 1 or 2 size up... for boost slide do we need to buy 1 or 2 size up?
I went true to size on the Boosts slides and the others to be honest. Hope that helps, thanks for watching!
The supercloud + needs to have a comeback
There are a lot of things that need to make a comeback from adidas 🤣 Thanks for watching 👊🏽
Boost without knit 60 bucks is pretty fair if youre ok to pay 150+ for ultraboost. $90 extra for knit actually makes boost slide a much better option.
Is there a size difference in the two? Or are they same same?
Nope, they're the same size!
i want to know how soft the sole is.
You should try the Croc literide slides. They're honestly much better and more comfortable. I know it's a croc, but if comfort is what you want. And just planning on wearing them around the house, who cares. They're a great slide.
Yea no doubt, I believe they're mad comfy, I just have zero interest in crocs as a whole. Appreciate the input and insight however!
I wear 11 and use 12 in my ultraboost 4.0 (sneakers). My foot is not wide, what size of cf + should I get?
TTS? Sz down? Sz up?
If it's that wide, I'd go a size up to be safe!
UB 4.0 is so small man. I just returned mine. Side by side with the 3.0 the 4.0 is way smaller and shorter in length even though they are the same size. Adidas just fucked up on their sizing on the 4.0.
Can we use comfort slides as shower slide ?
I wouldn’t recommend it. The foot bed would probably absorb a ton of water.
@@therjscott Thanks !!!
Kabir Grover just buy the Adilette shower slides
If you want a shower slide, then yes that’s the solution.
@@therjscott can confirm this is true. Tried.
any chance you can suggest for a small store or online store (not chain store) that i can try do small scale business with for slides? you should try "reef slide" are very nice . hope you can help me out with a name or two cheers (thumbs up )
Hey Tony, I don't really have a suggestion unfortunately. I definitely wear an array of different slides and sandals. Reef was a staple in my life for a very long time growing up in California. I also enjoy Rainbow and a few other brands as well.
Adidas Comfort n Adidas Cloud foam are they both the same? Or
No sir, different! Check out the adidas site, that may help distinguish the two!
I have a number 10. My foot is short and thick. Will a number 12 be too long?
Yea I wouldn't size up much on these. Hope that helps, thanks for watching!
I agree with you sir. Adilette comfort slides are mad comfty for less.
No doubt, thanks for watching!
Adidas dropped the ball by not including a non-stank coating on the footbed material. This is a non starter it’s a stinky sweat fest.
No matter what sandals I get they always rough up my feet when sand gets in them
Yea I definitely do NOT recommend slides for the beach or sandy areas, flip flops are definitely the play for that and I recommend Rainbows 🌈
Do you wear the same size in both slides? or the does the strap padding make it so you size up?
I wear the same size in both, I'm a trust to size 10.5, but opt for the 10 in both and they fit great. Appreciate you watching!!
Do the slides retain water
Sorry I have no idea, I don’t take my slides in water, ever.
@@therjscott like from the material of the comfort slides do you think they would hold water if I put them on after I swam in a pool
@@noahlee4216 I don’t see why not and I’d assume the vast majority of slides should hold up in the scenario 👊
That's weird, I have the comfort slides, the black ones that are meant for swimming too, and they have padding in the strap.
Yea, since this video I've seen countless iterations of the slide. Appreciate you watching!
@@therjscott ah ok. Didn't know there were so many. I got them now and they are very comfortable. Slightly big on the back, but fits perfectly on the front which matters more. Not sure if it would have been better to go a size down from my true size, but it's not a big deal.
Bro, you can try the PEAK Tai-Chi Slides. They'rr also comfortable as boost. But way more cheaper. Check them out.
that slide exists, not leather tho but has padding, its the comfort lifestyle version what you got is the swimming version. all swimming versions are monochromatic
Gotcha, yea I'm sticking to the Boost slide, def my personal favorite thus far!
I got rid of my Nike solarsofts because of the puffy strap. I hated it it held moisture like nothing else. The reason I got the adidas cloud foam comfort was for the thin strap. Edit: I had the solar soft for 3 years.
Good change of pace, enjoy em!!
Those comfort slides have spoiled my feet it feels weird to walk barefoot around the house now and iv had mine for like 3-4 years and the only wear and tear is the paint coming off of where my toes sit
That's good to hear, most people love those things!
I use ultraboost 19 in size 45 1/3 so which size should I go for in slides?
Same size as your UB. If it’s a half size, go down unless you have a big foot (thick, wide) go up.
I use 45 1/3 on UB, and I couldn't even get my feet in on 46 Adilette Boost.
That's tough, hope you find a pair that works out!
@Jacob Dawson idk, I got size 9 which is my actual size, and I have them hanging off the back a bit. Half a size down would probably fit perfect
These are the ones I have the naming is kinda confusing
Oh word? What confusing you?
@@therjscott the Naming is kinda similar and they look similar I'm talking about the 2 different Cloudfoam slides the softer ones and hard ones
Give it time Adidas will raise the price.. but for now the comfort slides are comfy as frfr
How long does adilette stays ? 1 year or more ?
Hard to say, I've only had mine for about a month so far. A lot of people have said the cushion lasts a long while!
ppl says it’s peal easy in 6 to 8 months
What peels?
vrund shah I mean slides last layer peal off easy way ?
Cloudfoam shoes is definitely more comfortable than boost i swear.. i bought a 40usd duramo 9 adidas and it's definitely more comfy than boost shoes that is 4 times more expensive
Bro you need to get the adidas sku S79352
Adilette CF Ultra C
Just looked into them and they look like exactly what I hoped existed. I’ll snag a pair soon!
RJ Scott awesome! I think you will like them.. I have them and 1 pair of the black/white boost slides and 2 pairs of the triple black boost slides. I wear one pair of the triple blacks for indoors with socks, there was a break in period but now they are really comfy but the cloudfoam ultra plus is IMO slightly better comfort wise but tends to hold more moisture due to the material of cloudfoam. Both are the best adidas slides imo. Also I subbed to you when I commented my first comment 👍
I appreciate the comments and appreciate the sub as well. Keep in touch!
If you want the best of both worlds (heavy padding on the strap) and adidas comfort slides cushioning, you should try the skechers slides
🤣
Can I use the comport slide in shower ?
I’ve heard the comfort slide develops and odour overtime, can anyone confirm
If you don’t wear socks yeah
The comfort slides are super comfy I have it since 2 years ago and maybe I will change it and try the boost or the same in black. I will add u a url image of how it looks after some time. The only bad thing is DO NOT put in water, I took this to the beach and the smell in the room was horrible I thought first was rug but not. For house and dont have shoes inside house are super but dont take it to the beach.
Good advice man, appreciate the input!
Do you buy these true to size of do you buy it at half size up or down? referring to the ADIDAS ADILETTE COMFORT SLIDES. Please let me know.
I wondering the same thing. 🤔
I rock most my slides in a size 10 which is technically 1/2 size down from my TTS.
^
whats the SKU/product code of these?
The Comfort Slides can be found here: www.adidas.com/us/adilette-comfort-slides/S80977.html and the Boost Slides are out of stock on ADC, but can be found here on Dicks: www.dickssportinggoods.com/p/19adimdlttbstwhtwmns
@@therjscott thank you!!

Are these cf or cf+
Which ones? There are multiple pair in the video.
