A precious moment for sure, G! Funny how "prepaving" works, perhaps it's providence (a timely preparation for future eventualities)...who's nose but a joy in all respects! Happy Holidays my friend, to you and your fine family!
G great piece with the daughter. My daughter just turned 54 this year, and she still looks to me for those sort of things. Have a wonderful Holiday season you and your family.
It's alway a great feeling when this happens. Last week I found £20 in some old trousers I was getting rid of. Gimme a shout if you find my receeding hair in the mud G.
It sure was Sirus! I couldn't believe it showed up a short time after thinking about it. Good find on the money. I have found many things in the mud that might've been used as hair- but unfortunately I already trashed them. I will keep you in mind for the future though and send you whatever I think could work. Take care, G.
Did you find any 10mm sockets????? You're daughter's reactions was priceless. Of course you did increase your odds exponentially by screening, but still........ Thanks for sharing that.
LOL!!!! I didn't Mike. I know they're always the first to go- but can you believe I've never lost one? My Dad lost one of my Snap-on 10's a couple of years back but I found it in his shop about a year ago. Yeah, screening did increase the odds, but still- like you said. The joy she had was in fact priceless for sure. Take care, G.
LOL! Thanks Darryl. It's old hat these days as she knows the drill all too well. Worked much better when she was 2-3. I'm still hanging on though. Merry Christmas to you as well. G.
LOL! It would seem that way Dave. I'm sure Lego knows that term all too well. Don't tell my daughter the scheme though since she likes to mix and match characters parts. Again, please don't tell her as my wife and I are the ones that ultimately pay.... Good to hear from you, G.
I Can't tell if you're being snide or not. If so, this was real in every sense of the word and the reaction was real. If not, I don't understand your comment. Please elaborate, G.
@@ghostses Not snide at all! Just a relate.......what could be better than loosing the piece, then finding it 'against all odds' .....look at your Daughters reaction., The 'joke' is, this is why they make the hair detachable........so there can be this complicated, highly unlikely experience. All good. No worries. Very glad things worked out this way.
Your daughters reaction made the whole video. Thanks for sharing. Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
I agree Tom! Priceless for sure. You and yours do the same. Take care, G.
It's the simple things that we should cherish most. Y'all have a Merry Christmas
I agree 100%! You do the same, G.
That’s a God thing........just for the joy in your daughters laughter. She will never forget that moment. Merry Christmas.
Thanks James! You and yours have a good Christmas as well. Take care, G.
One happy little girl. Congratulations dad, you won a few more points back (temporarily).
I did Mac! Can't believe I found it after months and months in the dirt. Yeah, temporarily for sure- but I try...lol. G.
That's a definite win! Thanks for sharing.
For sure Brendan! Good to hear from you. Hope all is well, G.

Cute!
Thanks! Take care, G.
It's like when they find long lost wedding rings on a carrot, seems impossible at first, but if you think about it the chances aren't that bad.
I had to look that up. Pretty cool. Take care, G.
I think i would call it luck. But I'M sure she will be happy.
That's cool Nash. Yes, yes she is. Take care, G.
Nice trick with the slight of hand! Merry Christmas : )

@@ghostses Melts your heart every time...
That it does Darryl, G.
why would it have detachable hair?
planned obsolescence ?

It's obvious isn't it? So you can loose it, then under insurmountable odds, find it, and get this priceless reaction from your child.

Although having to explain my position kinda takes the wind out of the sails. And the humor out of the situation.
