From Jacksonville, can confirm not a skiing or snowboarding epicenter
yeah but the skateparks and food is amazing
Same
Everyone knows the best place to rip rails is Miami… fresh powder everywhere!
@@hunterscrackdealer6650 Miami Beach local here. Can confirm.
We have a saying in McCall Idaho about the ladies. “You don’t lose your girlfriend, you just lose your turn.”
6. Where do people live here ?
7. What is there to do in the summer ?
This is so damn spot on. Number one thing i've heard this year working in a ski shop, "I moved here because of the snowfall last year, is it going to get good?"
this is so refreshing and brings back some of the best memories I've had. From someone who had 3 jobs trying to be a local in Summit County before the turn of the century, it made me gut laugh to hear mostly the same crap still goes on! lol. We called the tourists 'gapers' back then, laughed when they asked if the chairlifts still ran when it snowed, and advice was still to import your girlfriend. Now i'm the tourist who visits for a weekend or two and maybe the only thing i've ever really regretted, leaving..... Subscribed!
I’m from Denver. I’m a local. Hahaha.
Hahahahahaha I fucking hear that shit to much living in summit. Or I bought a house here and visit once a year. I'm a local.
I live in CSprings and have my whole life, I consider myself a local on mountain when I'm riding Breck and Key for sure
Love the skitown cocaine bit lol
Avran should run for mayor
That idea has been tossed around for Breck a few times.
@@AngrySnowboarder Hey, if Bif America can be a celebrity in Breck the bar is pretty fucking low!
Come to Austria stripclubs everywhere
Living in a resort town is my dream. I have never had the means to even go out west, but i shred my local hills (MN) all winter long and i WILL make it to the mountains!
If you don't make the leap and do it now you'll regret it later.
@@AngrySnowboarder my plan is to go out there to teach snowboarding at a resort because I'm a certified instructor and hopefully while I'm there I can figure something out. I think you're right though !
@@Hachi_Boards Find a resort that will let you stay in their rv lot or something similar or has housing. Just do it man life is too short.
As soon as someone says they "live local". I stop talking to them cause the truth is their parents helped them buy a place, their parents still give them an allowance, or they still live with parents in the ski town.
Having lived in Whitefish and currently in the Packwood area. This is so true. Especially number one, absolutely especially number one. "Let's buy all the houses and go get our beer poured by homeless people at the bar."
Hey that Jacksonville, Florida shot out 🤘
I miss being a local.. spent 12 years in summit, and Arapahoe county.. too fucking expensive.. I still know the best fishing, and pow spots, though :-)
I just got a Mahar and they rock!!
I laughed so hard I pressed the subscribe button haha
Looking at the lumber jill, for my gf.. love marhar!!
Yea i wouldnt give you the location to my best fishing spot so i get it lol
So where is that fishing spot you speak of?
A long way from the ski slope lol..... I live in Louisiana
If someone buys a house in a ski town and airbnb's, they can expect some surprises every now and then from locals
Our pow sucks in Michigan until you go to the up
Working in a rental shop in Breck guy came in last week to return his gear cause he thought it was stupid to ski powder smhhhhh
Best complaint ever heard at Beaver Creek, "They need to groom more during snow storms, that swath down the middle just isn't enough".
@@AngrySnowboarder All day long dude. Makes Beav the best for trees and gate resort riding.
Trick question. There are no locals at a ski town. Just Australians and Europeans. All you hear is spanish and french in Whistler.
False, I know plenty of locals up there.
This is your best work
One reason resorts towns are more expensive is because of visitor inflation. Super rich ppl with more disposable income take trips to resorts towns, and drive up the cost of goods. So if one asks why stuff is more expensive there, it’s ironic af.
Thank you captain obvious.
Best Video from Avrin!
I go into bars upstate NY and the locals stare at you while sharpening their bowie knives. Warm and welcoming.
Coog you must be pretty far north lol
Deep Creek lake MD not a big mountain but but I grew up here so I love it. I work at the wisp ski resort it's small but it's a job gets me a free pass and also get a few free days at other local resorts
Heading to Whistler in 10 days. All points noted ☝️☝️☝️😁
This is the story of my life growing up in a resort town...
"I'm from Toronto"
Spot on!
YES to number 1. It really is the worst.
Genuinely a serious problem here in Ohakune, Aotearoa(New Zealand).
yup pretty much how the housing is, making it tough on real locals to be chased out.
“Wow, people live here? What do they do during the summer?”
Cocaine, copious amounts of cocaine!
LOL The Fart Inn
I leave the locals alone. Cuz I dont give a shit either.
This.
Wherever I go.
From Ogden ut and these are the worst things I hear especially with how powder mountain has been developing recently
I had a real champion cross out all the skier type info & write 5+. No shit, I threw him out of the shop. Unbelievable.
Last guy that ever told me he was a 5+ ended up on Jerry of the Day at Keystone. He sent it for the boys, then sent it to the hospital, then sent us his payment for broken skis. Jerry's gotta send.
i needed your life advice about the smelly bars
Everyone needs my life advice.
I'm buying two houses but I'm not moving here.
I hope you get the clap from a Gnargoyle.
Mail order bride business for ski towns I think I’m in the money now
Thanks for the tips!
#HoustonSnowboarder appreciates it!
Do you know anything about the profile and specs of the Marhar Invasion
Have one sitting here. Flat to rocker profile. Bamboo in the core with 2 carbon x's under the insert pack, dual arc edges, and some other stuff. Sizes 151, 151W, 154, 154W, 158, 158W.
The worst is the tourists that recently pulled the trigger and moved here (bend, Oregon). Pisses me off when they ask me how long I’ve lived here with a tone as if they think they’ve been here longer. It gets awkward when I say I’m born and raised and they may not follow me off the lift.
Nothing better than the entitled person that just moved to your town and wants to have a dick measuring contest. 15 years in Breck, still get people trying to tell me "how it is" like they're 6 months means they know more than me. Until you've lived through 2 housing bubbles, a recession, and can remember a time when it was Old Man Peabody's tree farm and not a strip mall you can't comment. Keep on fighting the good fight.
You're a wanker he's a wanker she's a wanket they're wankers I'm a wanker everybody is a wanker. Snow towns gravitational centres for f#cktards. You forgot to shit on seasonal workers sardine canning accommodation. Your sister is hot dude sure it's weird you're attracted to her but you do you.
I appreciated the prospective on this.
The real locals know the BEST baby laxative is in Alma!
If you want it cut with fentanyl.
Sooo wanted to buy a Marhar but my funds said otherwise. Hopefully next year... 3 dollars for that pbr ooOOOO... HAHAHAHA.. dude hilarious. They need a stand up venue for you
There’s a great strip club in Saalbach in Austria. Just thought I’d let you know.
idk jax florida has some pretty rad skateboarders and surfers so im sure a few days of snowboarding would be easy for them
It also has people that eat bath salts and turn into zombies.
Youre an idiot lol
John Jacob who?
PhaseSkater you lol
John Jacob how? I’ve been to Jacksonville plenty of times.
So on point lol
I'm from Avon so I go ride Vail and Beaver Creek all the time
We have a strip club here in Bend, OR
Is it going to snow tonight?
It snows every night, just inhale and if it smells like farts, you're close to the snow.
South Lake doesn’t have a strip club? There’s like 4 casinos.
PC culture line had me laughing hysterically
hey if you go into Austria they have strippers there. I was in Kitkbuhel. totally strippers
well... i always give some powder stashes to firendly tourists, just not the real good ones! We have to keep the economy running right?!
That's why you sell them the bad cocaine, jeez William!
We have 2 Strip Clubs
Whistler had a strip club? Lmao
How do you have a million dollars in Durango? Come with 2 million!
I live in big bear and work for the resorts.............I fucking hate all of it tourist the resorts
You could always just move away.
What mountain u snowboard on
The one with snow on it. There's some trees and a couple chair lifts as well.
great response@@AngrySnowboarder
He has 100s of review videos where he tells you where he tested the gear
The worst kind of tourists come to turoa ski feild, they are half skiers and half mountain bikers that got their licenses from their cereal box
Where do u live?
Inside the hearts of men.
hhhhh, nr 4, love it
Revelstoke used to have a stip joint. Who remembers that?
The Boot : (
Best video to date!!! Welcome to Colorado NOW go home, leave your money and go home
This is literally more educating than school
there s a strip club in Tremblant Canada!
There used to be on in Whistler too, Frisco CO had one, and well you could count South Lake Tahoe while you're at it, although no one wants those.
No ignorant questions, the additudes from tourist have been atrocious this year though. Aspen has two types; extremly rich and poser rich. Guess which one feels more intitled 😒 Tourism is great but the industrial tourism we are seeing across the nation is not needed and is using up places till they are nothing but a husk of what they once were.
Entitlement is an issue across all socioeconomic levels.
Lol sounds like a typical bay area kook!!!!
There’s a strip club in Banff
Having lived in banff for the past year, i confirm that there is not a strip club of any kind? Where did you come up with this?
Kaelen Cheverier maybe it closed I’ve lived in Canmore my whole life. Been away most of the year for school the past few years though so definitely possible it closed
funny enough, i was born in raised in canmore. anyways a few years back they closed down auroras. which was a large club, but to my knowledge i dont think it was classified as a strip club. regardless still a very eventful nightlife scene
Kaelen Cheverier Aurora closed?? I had no idea lol I’m out of touch clearly.
I live in Banff then Canmore for 12 years and also can guaranty there was no strip club in Banff in the last 12 years. Maybe a myth you heard in high school but trust me if there was a strip club I would have been there. Hell! Revy doesn't even have theirs anymore, sooo sad.
“The snow isn’t good” I want to smack tourists that complain about the snow.
$3 for a PBR ppffft HA! More like $11-12.
Where the fuck are they charging 11 to 12 for a pbr.
