Boy you know I'm a huge huge fan of this project. I was looking at one myself this week and I put off buying due to transmission issues in my car. Well it was on there for $250 for the start (rolling body) and i thought that's not to bad a price. Auction ended and it got relisted at $1 reserve. Sold for $12. Kicking myself big time today
Really neat Harvey. I recently found a club cart with a 650cc street bike engine. 5 speed with beautifully made clutch set up on it. Debating whether or not to buy it.
I have a white one like it that is electric. Battery box rusted out again and I need to weld it back up. Yours ran just as good as before. Hey, that emgine would fit on the three wheeler with the bad side case..... 🤔
Awesome. I have the same engine I'm putting into one at the moment. It was an old melex electric cart. I am hoping to utilize the gearbox already on the cart. The thing is. The shaft is front to back, not sideways. I am installing the engine sideways.
Not much suspension on that thing is there lol that's a back breaker fo sho could also benefit from an exhaust that's longer than 2". I love it though! I have been wanting to do a build like this with a few extra mods like lifted suspension but heck yeah. Do you find the 200 gives you enough power or would you go bigger if you had to do it over keeping in mind the added suspension?
lol when you said drives like a bucking bronco i almost thought you said the F word then bronco lol. i was like wow thats the first i ever heard harvy cuss lol
Yeah it’s bad but 99% of the time you get away with it. That Harvey is working with 100% junk puts him 99% ahead of the curve. Using ether to start a lawn mower engine is bad but who cares. Using ether to start a $50,000 diesel is moronic.
Hey Sam, This may sound stupid, but, I was told back in high school, almost 1/2 century ago that starting fluid blow up small engines and I have been try blow one up for the last 45years... I have not had any luck, I'm going to keep trying.... The new starting fluid from walmart seems to have no more flash than wd40.... Thanks for Ur concerns, thoughts, advice, watching, and commenting!!!
I’d does not that is not true I’ve used it for the last 60 years and never had a issue. It is just a flammable vapor to help start. If you live in the up in Michigan and are in -20 degree temperatures you have to use it.
I missed that old build
The ol' Honda-Go...she's alive!

i like it looks like it would be a good cart for making into a small truck for yard work and it looks like it has plenty of get up
careful with those cheep cone filters they will let dirt and dust by if they are not oiled and cleaned regularly, cool to see u mobin around👍
Nice to get a romp or two in on a hot day ! Larger wheels go faster ! Lol and yes I know they need more power !

That was fun but I keep thinking about chocolate cake donuts :)
Hey Harvey how about putting a lawn mower seat on that thing you probably could get it to work I would think you have one laying around somewhere
Helmet Cam? Harvey. Are you considering it. Sounds like a good idea to me. Lol!
..but wait, that requires a helmet. Ha ha ha. Loved the vid.
Lol that was awesome!! Yes you need a helmet cam. Also, just
put a lawnmower seat on it and you will be good to go! :)
I have a 250 recon 2000 would that work on a golf cart do you have a video of you building it I would love to do that with mine thank you

Do you have reverse on it
The water that shot out of the exhaust gave me a bad feeling but it surprised me
This a honda 200sx engine?

👍👍
Why do you use easy start? Surely you of all people know how bad it is Harvey?
