    Yes, they proven absolute crap. I have found them out in the desert with their locking tabs snapped off and left to rot in the sun. It's a dirty filthy trick ProMag has played on the world, specifically making them look like the excellent Bulgarian Circle 10 hybrid "waffle" mags. I spent dearly on my Bulgarian waffle mags and have never regretted it.

    • @yrsued
      @yrsued Год назад

      They are not horrible, but they are not the best. There are much better mags out there and sometimes, cheaper!!

      You can't beat the arsenal waffle mags those and the bakelites and plum mags are all I try and stick to they just run and never break yea they cost more but worth every single penny in my oppinion and honestly the new k-usa polymer steel lugged with steel feed lips I picked of 5 of them and they have been really durable and reliable so far and they get thrown on the ground alot during mag changes havnt had one fail yet but bakelites and arsenal waffles for 762 and plum mags for 545s just run great

      When you throw them on the floor or step on them, the metal mags can bend though. Then the follower gets stuck. I had it happen, and had to take it apart and put some pliers in there to expand them back. Also they're heavy. But apart from that, they're super reliable, indestructible and cheap.

    I bought 2 bout 4 years ago while training they cracked from just throwing them on the ground from mag changes I mainly run arsenal waffle mags and bakelites and run plum mags and bakelites in my 545s and only arsenal waffle mags in my 556 aks I've just noticed arsenal waffle mags plum mags and bakelites just are very reliable and highly durable and I've had very good luck so far with the k-usa polymer mags that are steel lugged and steel feedlips and they k-usa mags are only 25 bucks

    I have a Zastava m70 and every steel mag I have bought doesn't feed well unless I hold the magazine tight. PMAG and polymer mags made in Serbia work great though. I wonder if that's by design so you buy more of their mags.

    I actually feel pity that younger folk, or folk that didn't live in driving distance to SG😉, missed the Sportsman's Guide Mag Lotto from 06 - 08. Cosmo covered 10 packs of "Game Used" mixed AK mags for $19.99. Only one I didn't get in a dozen packs was a Fleur, otherwise just about everything else. Personally, I prefer the ChiCom Flatbacks. ORF in 2005 was another gold mine. AK74 mags for under $2 used and 4 packs of new for $20. That post deployment $$ really went far during that period😉🤫

    I really like PSA's hybrid mags. Polyomer, but with metal mating surfaces. Being polymer its lighter than the steel mags by a good degree, which goes a long way for carrying multi mags on kit, and on lowering the overall gun weight. They also come in odg which gets me happy (though atleast they did in the past, not sure anymore).
