I have instead often heard sparrows singing outside in the winter and more than one type of bird singing in warm months up here in Canada while living in a large city. Have you ever booked any hearing test for yourself? If you do obtain a hearing test whatever you do -- Avoid bringing the results to a family doctor who might say after looking at the test results if you are over the age of 70 only that you have normal hearing (for your age). Which isn't true. Only people who have grown up in the city and then lived there all of their lives have that much hearing loss. Or worse thanks to how governments in North America concerning occupational hazards tell the international sized companies that they are all allowed to have up to 5 decibels of noise higher than what is healthiest for human life in their workplace environment for the sake of their employees.
