Great video. Thank you for choosing to leave when under the weather, not just for yalls sake but also for the other people around (especially knowing the illnesses going around after the fact!). Starting around like 13:00 when you finally start leaving, and see the other camp sites for the first time, and realise just how awful it was for other people was a very important part of this vlog that I think was also unique to it that showed a perspective many did not have of a camper in a “less worse” location. On the Facebook groups and stuff, you hear about people who finally learned how scammy/shady everything was once they got access to the internet after leaving the fest, and how the information was not being passed along to everyone. Seeing how campers didn’t know how far other camps were/how bad it was destroyed really shows how blindsided everyone was by the crap this fest pulled. Smart gf to decide yall are never doing this fest again lol 😂.
Rocklahoma has 3 corners of the music grounds sectioned off with portapottys and each one has to have like 40 in each. And they get cleaned constantly. Aaand they sell bottled water for $1. Plus the free water stations. And we found a pizza truck for $8 for a slice that took up the whole plate. I appreciate the availability they provide.
I 100% agree with you & your girlfriend Trevor. This festival was criminal & ran embarrassingly poorly. The part that outrages me the most is how they oversold the amount they did just to make money, but make it an awful experience for everyone who made it possible. 😡 I will never go to the B.R.R.F. again until (if ever) they get their shit together. Maybe the owner needs to just sell it over to someone else & let them take the reins cuz he clearly is not doing it correctly AT ALL. If they don’t refund every last person their money, I hope he gets sued BIG TIME, is forced to go under, & let someone else take over who can turn it around & make it what it truly should be, a true fan made rock festival. 🤘
when i went to perform at blue ridge2021. our campsite was just right behind our stage lol. Catering was Completely AmaZing and the Crew was ALSO AMAZING
We were all so lied to. Aside from the weather it was deplorable. Friday was the only day of music i saw for almost $700. I will taste this salt for years probably.
This was messed up for the festival. We didn’t camp but we made it three hours on Thursday before the show closed. Then Friday we waited hours in line to get shuttled in only to be told Friday that they wouldn’t let anyone in due to bad weether. It looked pretty nice. Glad you mentioned it was over sold as well. The weather for Saturday and Sunday wasn’t to bad and they canceled it. Total BS
Good job on the video of the SHITSHOW called Blue Ridge. I'm 41 my husband is 45 and this is our first festival since Woodstock '99. That was a cake walk compared to this HELL ON EARTH!!! We drove from PA and every band I really wanted to see got canceled cancelled. 30 years of camping is the only thing that saved us. Brought my 13 year old daughter and now she doesn't ever want to go to a music festival again. And heads up lots of people are sick...my husband got sick. We were right across from Porto potties that only got cleaned on the first day.🖕BLUE RIDGE🖕
2024 tickets are already being sold for BRRF. This was my second year going & the worse one. Last year wasn't the best either. BRRF was even worse this year. I really believed they actually made improvements from last year as they promised to do. Boy, was I the fool to believe in them. I won't be going again. Johnathon Slye doesn't know how to run a festival.
According to Jonathan this is supposed to be the biggest Festival he's ever put on. I assume he has no idea what he's doing the lack of Staff the lack of trashcan and the lack of cleanliness is not good. They've been doing this Festival since 2017 but again if you compare it to something like Welcome to Rockville it's a night-and-day difference Rockville is what I called professionally well done this is called. Blue Ridge is amateur at best it's pretty much in the middle of nowhere not a great setup for me it's my first and last and only time going. It felt like I wasted my money but I thought like everybody else did he hyped it up like always going to be the best thing ever great cell service great artist great bands nope just trash
I don't see how they can do a festival that big at VIR. It's a good racetrack but there's nowhere near enough infrastructure to handle 100,000 people for four days. You saw how far out in the middle of nowhere the raceway is. Parking 5 miles away and forced to take a shuttle bus and being charged $50 for the privilege? Come on. And yeah, people are saying BRRF couldn't do anything about the weather, fair enough. But maybe they can move the festival to a time of year where there's less chance of severe weather and not, y'know, park people five miles away and not oversell the damn thing? (And yeah, btw, you're right, VIR is about 3.8 miles long if I remember right. It's a BIG racetrack.)
Hey man could you edit out the campground and all of that crap and just leave it on the stage with the musicians do you have any more video footage of the musicians playing in jamming out???
That's all the music I have I have one sleep token song that's 3 minutes long but other than that that's much as I filmed I thought I would actually feel more but I didn't I mean you can download my video if you wanted and then edit out all the other stuff but I wanted to show how the good and the Bad and the Ugly was at this Festival because honestly people need to see how bad it was yes the music was good but we only got to see maybe six bands total
Why did none of you take water or Gatorade to an out door festival? You all seem to be adults. Serious question, not an argument. Edit: My question here is were they stopping people from bringing in hydration at the event itself forcing people to buy theirs. Yes, theirs as they were making the vendors pay them a ridiculous amount.
The whole festival went south starting at around 630 thursday early evening !
