Something to keep in mind about Ubisoft not laying off enough: They are an EU based company. It is MUCH harder to do lay offs within the bounds of the law compared to the US.
I waited a few months and got prince of Persia for 30 bucks a good game but was not worth the $70 price tag sorry to say and I enjoyed my time with the game
Michel Ancel truly is a genius, I'm surprised he came back as a consultant after going to work on an animal sanctuary, he never made a bad game for the "fresh eyes" argument to help.
By the way i think star citizen live service game is made for whales.nothing wrong with that but microtransactions in that game is in another level compare any other game or sim.
of course sony want the sweet live service money the look at xbox that own several succesfull live service games (several that are on ps) sea of thieves , fallout76 , overwatch , sony has one they own destiny and one that are exclusvie but not a sony ip helldivers 2

Yes and i think it is also great that ubisoft want keep Talent devs if ever happen that they have great games coming in future.
