Honestly SVT’s songs are indeed very hard to describe, but somehow SEVENTEEN has a very distinct sound thats very recognizable, idk how they do it. Woozi is very good at making uplifting, bright songs like “ ‘bout you” and he also loves using switch-ups/ anti-drops in his songs which make it very unpredictable. Their title track “Home” is the perfect example of a Woozi anti-drop song
I know what you mean by how svt has their distinct sound. Ofc they will pull inspiration from other genres but Woozi and Bumzu will add something that makes it their sound. Which makes me so curious to see what their individual sounds is,when they start serving in the Army i wonder how they will make individual projects or still make music togerther while the some of them ar not there yknow.

They ATE on this album, it’s soo good. They also performed HOT+Shadow+Don Quixote at the year end awards, it’s a really good performance. Don Quixote also has a dance practice. It might be fun to watch SVT In The Soop to get to know the members! Or the SVT super long guide is a good one

About don quixote if I remember correctly🥲- Don Quixote was a Spanish guy who believed he was a knight and went on to fight giants (which were actually just wind mills) to save the princesses and went on many quests etc but they were all his imagination. People thought he was crazy but still at the end admired him for his courage and bravery for fighting for what he believed ? I think 🙈
You're so right, this album isn't the typical sound and it definitely crosses many genres and I LOVE IT. So cohesive but each different in their own way. My faves off this album are don quixote, shadow and bout you lol I love a good r&b Jackson 5 bop 😂😂 woozi is so good and he knows the sound and direction his members excels at. Face the sun is a really amazing and kinda unique album I feel! So much variation and color. And all the members who we know are such versatile people, this album even more shows how they can cover any genre and how they can all rap sing dance so amazing! Also seventeen has their own sound and I feel that's what made me carat cuz its my kinda sound! So yea!
