Very nice documentary. One of the best telling about the Kalesh and Hunza people. I really enjoyed. One thing I would like to framework is that despite she said in the description of the video that Macedonians are not Greek they surely share many things and even some words that later appeared in other modern languages during the domination of the Roman Empire. Greek Roman culture had such influence that mostly of the modern western languages carry words that are having its origins on that. Further I believe that Alexander made more than conquer Asia but he connected west to east in such way that we can see till nowadays some words present in our modern western languages that are having roots in Asia, like Hindu-european words.
The Macedonian Question, in regards to the "Greek" point of view is a very complex situation...... all you need to know is this .."History is written by the victor"......

justinian The Great I'm from many places. Did you really read my comment? Doesn't sound like. I don't understand why people for centuries, generations after generations are always claiming to see themselves in a separated way. Greece had such impact in western countries...the whole world conquered by Alexander, at his time, still is present nowadays in different cultures. He was Macedonian for sure but seems his view was beyond Macedonia. Don't you think? I don't know about you but I'm so lucky that we live this diversity and that we humans are much more than the territories and the languages we see today.

My mistake, yea your right about Greece, .... in regards to Alexander I am against his "ambitions" because I believe in preserving ones culture and race (no offence), Alexander was a greedy individual who wasn't a "great" man but more so selfish, he only cared for his "ambitions" taking millions of young Macedonian men to death along with him and for what? For diversity or for his stupid legacy! It makes me sick that people praise a man that "destroyed" his own monarchy,.... The queen of Hunza is called Rani Atika.
These are the titles that Indian royalty uses..... Raja and Rani.

For Macedonia that was created by Marshal Tito or for ancient Macedonia that is in Greek territory because Macedonia of Sod is Dardane together with Kosovo and Southern Serbia where all these countries were the territory of the Dardan tribe and the Dardanians were an Illyrian tribe. after all, the names of the tribes of the Hunza valley have meaning only in the successor language of the Illyrians in the Albanian language, Burushi, Kalash and Pamir, all 3 tribes have meaning in the Albanian language.

thank you for this very interesting informative video. the kalash people are so beautiful and happy. the young man in the last part of the video speak good English. the place where they live is like a fairyland. The scenery so beautiful, untouched by the modern world.. Surreal is the word...
