There's absolutely no competition as this train not only take you to station A to B but also arranges special vehicle to see special monument in that city..
It’s absolutely stunning I think the only thing more beautiful than the train is the country I really never knew I wanted to visit Japan until I started seeing more RUclips videos and now I really want to. From what I’ve seen the only thing better than the views of the country are the people they’re very inclusive and they encourage you to try kimonos and will even show you the proper way to put them on and wear them and they don’t consider it offensive for you to do so as long as I’m sure you behave appropriately and I find that fascinating that the Japanese are so welcoming and want you to dive into their culture and be a part of it and not just to see it and admire it from a far and I appreciate that.
I can tell you first-hand that this is not the 'most luxurious' train. That's just marketing, and I fell for it. Orient express is a magnitude more luxurious in more dimensions (unless you prefer to have dinner surrounded by people dressed in shorts and T-shirts after spending thousands of dollars).
