- January 16th, 2021 Super swell saturday biggest Waimea Bay since the last Eddie Aikau in 2016.
First XXL swell to hit Oahu in 2021 massive swell 22 feet at 17 seconds The day was full of insane rides and MASSIVE clean up sets that washed through the entire bay!

I remember in the ninetees when this was the biggest wave in the world, and nos, i can see that a wave less than 1,000km from my town is three times bigger: Nazare
but because there were no face book or youtube ... it got under the radar...

I didn't see any wave "riding". I saw 30 plus surfers vying for waves that gave them a drop and stop. Maybe it was the camera angle, but it really looked like the wedge: catch the wave, take the drop, and get swallowed.

This music is painful.
That is NOT the biggest in years. I left Oahu because to surf there was to take your life into your own hands because of the massive disrespect and the kooks. This video is proof.
