I think most agree that the fight itself is done brilliantly. Animation, staging, sound, music - everything is 100/10. But here's the balance...Eggman still had to win.

Since I’m being called a Sonic fanboy, we can also scale bowser. Bowser is around depending on if you say defeating a weakened super dimensio in paper Mario, he’s around 4D. His speed along with scaling is around inaccessible. His strength at times can be mostly inconsistent; however I’m deciding to use comp Bower just because of the fact paper Mario isn’t the same Mario or bowser as the originals. Comp means every version of the character. Ok? Comp bowser can scale with AP to around small planet level to star level, his strength depends on whichever transformation he uses, as they have been confirmed to multiply his strength because they have power scaling, meaning they cannot scale to the chaos emeralds or phantom ruby, but even so, bowser has multiple options within his arsenal that can counteract Eggman, however the one thing I’d say they got wrong heavily was the wonder flower itself. It only creates its own reality, and doesn’t manipulate time and space, but can still be a game ender depending on when it’s used. Once again, the speed difference is just a large gap between the two. If it was everything included in arsenal, plus at their best? I’d say it’d be a tie, or end up like what happened with Goku v Superman 3, where time and space itself was just gone along with all of their robots, as they just sit in the white void. This battle is extremely close, but you always have to specify which version of the character.

While yes, Infinite is a fraud. It's not exactly his entire fault. He increased gravity, and was distracted. So basically, he got his power used against himself. Also according to the animator of the fight, he ain't even dead, he's just trapped under the thwomp contemplating his life.

While yes, Infinite is a fraud. It's not exactly his entire fault. He increased gravity, and was distracted. So basically, he got his power used against himself. Also according to the animator of the fight, he ain't even dead, he's just trapped under the thwomp contemplating his life.

Mainly like, you're hyped up to be super omega strong, but then you get the snot kicked out of you. Infinite was for sure strong in forces but, he unfortunately fell to the power of friendship and plot. (Another thing for fraud is people like Mr. Satan from db, he's weak as bricks compared to everyone else but the world reveres him as the strongest)

Not to mention, the phantom ruby isn’t illusions, it straight up can alter timelines and make reality its own toy, which is how you can especially tell they didn’t do their research, because both the ruby, and chaos emeralds, cannot be crushed, or destroyed whatsoever. Eggman speed blitzes and solos, low diff.
