At 2:16, the seat does not move inward away from the side impact like Volvos with the SIPS system. But there is also virtually no intrusion of the impact through the door either. This is not a normal Volvo side impact. Has SIPS been ditched because of the battery in the floor? ...... PS; Remember when Elon Musk made a fool of himself showing that the Mode S had less intrusion into the door than the S60? He totally didn't understand the Volvo SIPS which moves the seat away from the side impact and crushes the center console. The XC40 P8 seems to be different from other Volvos though.

Any real tests this can actually do 260 miles in good conditions and not heavy right food? We know polestar 2 does not meet it's stated range and it is pretty weak on efficiency (it is thirsty on electricity)
The engine and battery is said to be identical to the polestar, so expect less range than it will get (SUV has more wind-resistance). What really put me off is when i read a car-testers review about the engine having a nanny system, where if you take a corner too quickly, it will not let you accelerate out of the corner, even if you press the pedal all the way down. It will just gently speed up. This might even be dangerous on a gravel or snowy road if you wish to kick out the back a little for extra steering, if you are about to go wide. Also i dont like some safety system kicking in when im trying to have fun (in an appropriate, non-public-road area ofcause). My experience with Volvo is if there is a safety system, you can not turn it off, especially these kinds of safety systems. If anything you can tone it down a little, but never turn it off completely.
one thing i never seen in crash tests, is what if the car flips over as a result of a car crash, what then.. how do the people inside stay (survival rate) and the car it self!?
