@@jaldiach i believe israel’s military budget is estimated to be 15% backed by US whereas Hezbollah’s is estimated to be 70% backed by Iran and similarly for Hamas
There’s a pretty significant difference. Hezbollah is a proxy for Iran as they benefit from the conflict, America is only an ally with Israel and does Not benefit from this conflict.
America is the only thing stopping Israel from going scorched earth because if they cut ties then Israel is in big trouble.
A proxy is asked to engage in a conflict and is paid and funded to do so. An ally will support another ally in a conflict while trying to seek a diplomatic resolution between the two.

If Israel strikes Iran very hard, I feel Israel will have signed its own death warrant.
The Israeli army is stretched to the point of breaking and the Iron Dome is working overtime already. So if Iran got directly involved in the daily war the Israeli Iron Dome system would become completely overwhelmed everyday. Remember daily Hezbollah, Iraqi Resistance, Houthis and even Hamas keep launching a combined daily attack of over 100 plus missiles and drones on top of that. Israel could not cope with Iran adding hundreds more missiles and drones on top of these deadly attacks.
Also the Israeli army would struggle to keep up daily attacks on not civilians but actual enemy targets to weaken their enemies.
Lastly Israel must know how America would never truly allow Israel to be really destroyed, Russia (and maybe China) would not allow Iran to completely be destroyed.
Let not start hearing ceasefire between Israel. This how Hezebollah making noise since

They have not started saying anything new due to Israel fighting them.
They have only said they are still open to an Israeli ceasefire deal for the Palestinians that would include Lebanon as peace is best the region.
They prefer peace and fair just rights for Palestinians over Israeli genocide, occupation and oppression.
