    It felt like magic when the app ran on Docker. The time required to build and run decreased manifolds comapred to manual process.

    Hi Sir, In Docker file, apne last command ko "CMD" me q di? We can also give it in "RUN". What is the difference in giving the commands under "CMD" & "RUN" ?

    • @TrainWithShubham
      @TrainWithShubham  2 года назад

      Yes, correct
      RUN is basically intermediate commands while building the Docker Image, you can have many RUN commands,
      CMD is used to run a command after building your app, so generally it is kept only one at last

    11:07 Why did you use -9 here? kill just works fine.

    • @TrainWithShubham
      @TrainWithShubham  2 года назад

      in case your program is not responding so kill won't work.. kill -9 will kill even the unresponsive program (force kill)
      good question though
