We’ve all heard about the Giant Redwood tree, haven’t we? It’s an apt depiction of the Jia Yin (甲寅) or better known as the Wood Tiger Pillar. Steady, grounded, straightforward, reliable, the Jia Yin carries the gift of honesty.

What is a day master?

I would love if you could share on perspectives of both male and female daymasters. Do gender differences apply the same traits or focus? For example Britney Spears is 甲 寅 but would give a female perspective for this pillar as daymaster. And I also wonder if transgender or daymaster who had operation and removed their gallbladder still can rub by their birth element? My understanding is that elements in Chinese metaphysics share the knowledge w body organs as well.

Great feedback, Glitter Bunny. Learned gender roles will definitely have a huge impact, but in Britney's case, it really was because someone in her early years tried to turn a giant redwood into a bonsai. Changing the gender of a chart affects the luck pillars, does not change the natal chart. When it comes to career and wealth, these days, we read all charts the same regardless of gender... relationships are a different story.
