Time and time again this is one teacher that has helped to instantaneously rekindle that still/silent awareness. From what I gathered: Remain alert and turned inwards. Observe the inner world nonjudgementally with your conscious awareness simultaneously centered in the present moment. If thoughts arise, notice them with the same awareness and allow them to go by. Remain in the present moment. Hold this simultaneous no judgmental awareness and acceptance of both the inner and outer. It may help to anchor the inner awareness on the area center of the chest.
