You can significantly improve the start up speed of the computer by cloning the original spinning disk to a solid state replacement drive. It also acts as a preservation step as the Seagate hard drive may crash and become unrecoverable at some point. Since the drive is a normal consumer grade drive and used in a high on hours environment it may be sooner rather than later.
Several "Fix-it Felix Jr" arcade games were custom made for the now closed Disney Quest gaming experience, at the Walt Disney World resort/ Downtown Disney in Florida. I had the good luck to play it there before they closed down years ago. I am not sure if any of the custom cabs were ever sent to Disneyland in California, but @AtGames got the rights from Disney to include the game ROM on their Legends Ultimate Arcade home cabinet.
The version in the AtGames home console and home cabinet is actually not the same as the original fix it felix arcade. The AtGames version is actually ported over as a retroarch plugin.
I got to play one of these cabinets in Disneyland back in late 2013. It was set up inside one of the Tomorrowland gift shops. I also bought one of the mini Arcade Classics editions of the game several years ago, but it's a slightly scaled down version that's definitely not an exact ROM copy, but pretty close!
"I'm goinga wreck it!" Neat thing is some cabs the owners put a wreck it ralph plastic statue topper on it. Neat you have one now. We really need an updated arcade tour of the starship. So many great new arcade cabs.
Can't wait to see it! Would you care to tell/show us how exactly the computer interfaces with that 20ez? ie: how does it convert the video signal to something the monitor can read?
Yes.. it does suck.. but eventually like the dodo.. away goes the tech.. I did see a flat panel crt in a video and was used for a slim construction that required a crt monitor.
I don't know if they're maybe too complicated, too big or just too expensive, but would be really interesting to see a cabinet likt Top Gun with the moving seat or maybe a game that has a ride on bike or similar, so we could see how those work/get repaired.
If you pause the vid @ 5:56 you will see that the game has a copyright year of 1982. I guess that it is supposed to fit in with the other games from that era
Not exactly. From what I could tell, the game was created for the film, then Disney likely commissioned some replica cabinets to be built for certain areas at their theme parks (like in gift shops).
I love your arcade. The kids will like this game because of the movie. Personally I can’t stand the game. Hate to see a Nintendo cab used for this. But to each his own. Enjoy
@@stickman20233 the Fix It Felix Jr cabinet in the movie was modeled after Nintendo arcade cabinets from the 80s. So with a little art swap and a playable game it’s not hard to make the IRL version of the game.
I’d be backing up that computer and fix it Felix program a few times.

there were also a few at Quest Disneyland in California

LOVE that this one has a crt! Looks so much better and it's a fun game.
That white T molding really sharpens it up 👍 Good looking cabinet.
"Confuse and delight" Great combination!
That was great! I would love to see you restore a Black Tiger game!

That War Gods cab is in great shape! 🤩
Time Rift needs one of these too!
Saw it on the floor yesterday. Very cool addition! I love Wreck-it Ralf!!
Awesome game. Great quick fix
I agree that the black t-molding looked better.
Yeah, it may have looked better, but in the movie, it was white!
I made one and placed it in my buddies barcade. Personally i never saw the big deal in this game but young people play the living hell out of it.
You might want to check the bios to see if it has an option to power on when AC power is restored. Most have the option for on, off, and last state.
@@chrissmith82771 thank you!
I'm ready for Time Rift been waiting all summer. I can't wait.
Looked nice with black t moulding, looked nice with white, it just looked nice! Cheers for the vid!
*molding
Red would of been nice
Can't wait to see it!
Would you care to tell/show us how exactly the computer interfaces with that 20ez?

I would see if I can get a better computer or something in there to make it boot faster. As people have mentioned, back up those roms as well!
Cool arcade cabinet. It's a lot cleaner than the cabinet I worked on. Jesus loves you!
So glad to see the original crt monitor, I hate when people replace it with and lcd monitor

Love the new cabs but not as much as I love random Gunnar spottings 😍

This should be run on a Raspberry Pi.
Lol they just straight up murder Ralph by throwing him off the building.
Black t molding looked better
100% correct

Its all fun and games until Ralph wasnt seen in the screen
Speaking of arcade monsters how about a tour of the international drive one in a future video?
Wait.. is it the pc cersion, the sega genesis romhack, or the actual disney arcade rom?
😊cool
Cool. Where do I get a channel t shirt ?
@@jumpingeneral mike@electricstarshiparcade.com
Wonder if sugar rush has an arcade cabinet and if so where can you get one? 🤔
Or Hero's Duty?
What's the name of that board that interfaces between the PC and the crt?
@@Stinkythumbs111 It’s a J-PAC, www.ultimarc.com/control-interfaces/j-pac-en/
Who else was today's years old when they found out Fix it Felix Jr was a real game?!?!
It's not a "real" game in the sense it has a PCB & EEPROMs like an 80s arcade game. What that's running is a very cleverly designed emulation.
@@Mrshoujoif someone made a PCB.. they would be a god amongst men.

Any way to get this rom? I’m in the process of building one as we speak

@ElectricStarshipArcade oh ( I haven't watched the movie since maybe like 2016 or so and I don't know anything about arcade cabinets)
I may be wrong on this, but I think Disney commissioned replica cabinets of the game to place in certain indoor areas at their theme parks.
@kbhasi that would be pretty funny I'd buy one
