Hi, I'm a private cadet and after realizing the new frontier boots are not waterproof, is it possible to polish over the nylon with kiwi? thanks!
polish only the leather parts of the boots. leave the nylon parts out.

Zyrc Teo I’m scouts and Sec 4 also, stepping down end of April. I watched this video in Sec 2 to learn and polish my marching shoes, we don’t use boots. But well, now as a senior, no one checks whether mine is shiny or not, I check my juniors one haha

Stumbling upon this again after ORD-ing years ago, so here's the fast read tips for you chao ee lang NSFs who probably just started your journey and don't have time for videos;
1. Spit-shine: Use brush to brush off the dirt on your boots, then use towel to wipe it clean first. Prepare a wet tissue, takeout a bit of kiwi and put it on the kiwi can cover(eg. like scooping out a bit of butter and putting on a plate), and use lighter to heat up the kiwi until it looks a bit like liquid. Apply wet tissue in circular motion after every time you apply a layer of kiwi, this will confirm ensure it shines and it lasts quite long since kiwi is water resistance. This is the proper method you do during admin time, be it BMT or in unit.
2. Lighter-shine: The extreme fast method, slam kiwi on boots and apply fast and evenly, then use lighter on it(don't put too near). Don't lean in and breathe because the smell is horrible. 100% will shine for a few days but won't last for long, you are burning the kiwi and not the leather so please use your brain when gauging the distance. You only do this when you boots are dull and you just kena standby universe out of nowhere, or you are lazy.
And above all, cherish the 2 years, you will miss the camaraderie from taking unfair saikang together. Because everyone will move on with their life and this will be another fading memory like pri/sec/tertiary/first time virgin pop/etc as you grow older and work till you die.

Hello!! These boots are provided by Singapore's NCC HQ- depending on where you live, you can find replicas online :)
From what i found:
This town is in a timeloop, whenever one of the main characters dies, the loop is reset. There is also a mysterious virus/curse that causes random members of the village to become homicidal, as the main characters investigate there is also some suspicion of who is PRETENDING to be under the spell as an excuse to kill.

You can also use a lighter really helps open up the pores on leather after you apply a coat of shoe shine wax usually after a few coats it should be like looking into a mirror

You need patience, don't add too much polish, 1 swipe of polish with water ≈ 7-10mins

Items that you need -
1. Boots
In the Austrian army, we have to wash our boots with water and brush a rough brush to vet the dirt off, plus the soles have to be cleaned out too. We get out boots to get shiny with a more delicate brush after applying the shoe polish. The full boot has to he shiny. It's interesting seeing how every country has its way.

Pour qoui le faire avec bottes de combat? Oui pour le bottes de cérémonie. De tout façon le bottes on change pour de bottes plus performants pour les militaires. Bien es cierto que hace parte del adoctrinamiento militar, las botas negras de combate son de combate. Uno no las lustras para ir al frente o a ejercicios. Para eso están las botas para eso e igualmente se debe guardar siempre muy limpias y presentables. La botas de ceremonia si deben estar como espejos que puedas ver el brillo de brillo de tus dientes!!

How much layers is minimum required for a nice polish?
You’d want a nice base coat first. So build up at least 1-2 layers minimum, then just keep polishing over until you see the shine come through. I also suggest you check out the channel of “The Elegant Oxford”. He is really good at mirror shines so his vids can help a bit.

HAHA my RSM hates dirty boots so both boots need to be maintained to be in tip top shape. If he catches us with dirty boots in the bunk 2-3 days after a mission there will be a surprise waiting.

@@nothingwrong1050 Not at all. Using a hair dryer is the preferred method to melt the wax into the pores of the leather if you're short on time. Using a lighter however does run the risk of damaging the leather due to the possibility of igniting the polish.
