  • Here is an American muscle car at its best, a built 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle SS with 502 power. Chevrolet never actually built a 427SS Chevelle, not counting companies like Yenko or Balwin-Motion, but sure built an SS396. This is an original SS396 car that has been fully restored and retro-fitted with a 502 big block V8. This car was filmed by Samspace81 for a long time client in 2014.

at 2,35, a beauty is gping away and an ugly one coming. One of minimalist but best looking cars. A design that this simple could not look better. It is like a miracle in my eyes.

I keep seeing all these 66 and 67 ss chevelle on RUclips and none have gages. That is how all the plain jane cars came. My 67 has a full gage package including tac. Makes me wonder how many of these are clones.

You know you can get the numbers from Chevy for a 250 CID six cylinder car's fender. Since the digits are separate you can put them as 502. How awesome that would look on your car!

If this is an original SS396 I wonder why it didn't have factory gauges and the tachometer on the left side of the instrument cluster? That particular year the left turn signal light was incorporated into the tach on the SS models. These orginal tachs are pretty rare these days. Also, very few of these cars were automatics. Sharp car.

A Tremec 6 speed is THE TRANSMISSION to have with the 4.10 gear in the rear. Not only will you kick ass in the drags but with 2 overdrive gears you can cruise on the freeway at 80 MPH at 2000 RPM! Most excellent!

    1) Why a 427 badge?
    2) Why an automatic?
    3) Why are you driving with your left foot on the brake?
.…And 4) Why don’t I have one if I’m going to complain about yours? 😬

Beautiful car, I had one it was a 1967 Chevelle Malibu that I Cloned into an SS. The only thing I never changed was the dash board. It's the same as the one in this car. The SS dash had different gauges. This video shows the SS dash you sure this car isn't a Clone? ruclips.net/video/Jdo-of4ZEq0/видео.html An original 67 Chevelle SS has the 138 vin code.

Randy Jones it’s a hideously loud electric fan. I mean I get it, it looks cleaner under the hood without a clutch fan and shroud, but come on, that thing sounds ridiculous. There has to be a better way.
