Yeah. But it would make absolutely no sense in terms of canon. Yes, The Puppet animatronic is male, but is possessed by the spirit of a young girl. A grown ass man with that deep of a voice would not make any sense voicing a character intended to be Female, let alone an animatronic at a kids restaurant.
I like the canon voices more, personally cause the ones the kids see need to have nice voices as to not scare children, so the slight hint of silliness and less glitches in the voices work better overall, the Withered’s voices are perfect, they’re very old so their voices should be broken and heavily distorted
Phone Guy from FNaF 1 explained it in the best way possible: "If I were forced to sing those same stupid songs for twenty years and I never got a bath? I'd probably be a bit irritable at night too."
judging by books and sister location, animatronics dont retain all of thier memories, and souls combine with animatronic programing in some way process looks more or less like that human dies soul looses some memory soul enters animatronic and overwrites it system with old memories that are left creating new "mind" for itself animatronics coding is still inside souls new mind only way for a soul to move on is to get revange, or give up, but thier most clear memory is agony that they felt when they died they dont remember who exacly killed them, but they remember some features of this person they arent agressive to everyone, only to the people that share features with thier killer golden freddy is a bit harder to explain, especially because i dont know definitive answer
@@rrss2583 ok, we don't really know if Ballora really is Afton's wife in there. But thing is, Mangle is either Chica's dog after it died or it's powered by remnant. (not fully sure about Mangle myself if it's fueled by remnant.) And Fetch is one that was powered by agony, not a soul. Though I see where you're coming from since I read your conversation with the other guy. The animatronics with agony is about as unpredictable as the souls of the kids that were killed so many years ago. Thing is, the animatronics with the souls go for nightguards and don't really like the adults but they would never harm a kid and would protect the kids to their dying breath. The animatronics that are filled with agony don't really care if they harm a kid or an adult, they'll do it nonetheless based on what we saw in Fetch's story. That's why Jeremy in FNAF 2 was killed. Mangle seems to point more to remnant because why would an animatronic decide to kill a nightguard that looks nothing like the others that they killed before? And yet to this day though, we barely have anything for who or what Mangle is. All the other nightguards that were murdered by the other animatronics aside from Mangle think that the people in a security outfit are people they need to kill based on what they remember. But don't take my word for it, it's fine. I was just trying to clarify a few things that I wanted to talk about. This comment is not really an argument against yours, but just a comment to remind you of a few things. Again, don't take my word for it. This comment is to clarify and be nice. It's not to be against you and be an asshole to you. But if you read this far man, thanks.
I think Near over does it when the normal animatronics does the whole RANDOM DEEP VOICE but I do like them for what they are. They're great given we didn't know what they sounded like. Also, his Freddy voices are very well done. So's his Springtrap. I never liked how canon Springtrap is sudden so well spoken and posh and that crap.
For canon Springtrap’s voice I agree with you but when I think about it, William may be insane, but he’s intelligent and manipulative. Kinda like Frieza. During Sister Location’s intro when he’s talking to who I’m assuming are investors, he talks in a very calm and has somewhat calculating demeanor in his voice. Fnaf 3, he always hides in the shadows, he’s aware he’s being watched, but even in death the sound of children will still bring him wherever they may be. In Pizzeria Simulator, he knew the pizzeria was a facade, a lie. Yet he still came because if the potential of being able to murder children is present he’ll take the opportunity regardless of risk. Even if years of being dead have worn down his soul, he’s still a cunning, cold blooded killer. Psychopaths don’t have to explicitly show their insanity. They could live their lives without anyone batting an eye because they simply wouldn’t be able to tell on the surface. This is just kinda how I see it. “Life comes and goes, but proper manners are forever”
Revisiting this in 2022, I can still remember how much David's voices Completely terrified me especially Nightmare Foxy, Although I Really like the Canon voices His was Terrifying 😭
@@kinghobothe4th837 possessed by dead children. And we all know in horror whenever something or someone is possessed by a spirit its all evil and twisted
well that wouldn't make sense for the FNaF story and lore now wouldn't it? The Marrionette is possessed by the spirit named Charlie if you don't know which is female.
@@Nifica Well obviously, people don’t know the gender of the marionette though. It is like the Mangle situation. The David Near voice is just more intimidating than the canon voice. I hope you understand what I’m saying here.
My take on this is that I love a lot of Davids's voices! A lot of them have a serious and grounded tone with malfunctioning voices and depressing lines. I do love a lot of what we got for canon but a lot of them have a goofy voice or tone that makes them less scary. I remember back then I could not watch the marionette video because of the tone and the jumpscare at the end really got me so bad. The dialogue can be a miss too. In conclusion I love both but I love how serious David is about it.
Is it safe to say that FNAF overall has evolved in its overall meaning? It’s still kept that horror aspect, but sorta just grew into persistence, survival, and secrecy. David’s voices are what we were told FNAF was. The canon voices are what we see FNAF might be now. Both have their merits, and I feel it isn’t fair to compare the two.
I remember listening to David near’s voices before he took so many of the down there were good and to me they are the original voices for these characters
David Near's Withered Bonnie: "edge lord" Cannon Withered Bonnie: Thank you, thank you. I'll be here all week. "Papyrus UnderTale screams in the background" I also prefer the canon Nightmare voice and the Nightmarionette voice. more than the David Near version. Not like David is bad or anything. David Near's channel was around before UCN.
David Near's Toy Freddy: *Talking about how the old models were replaced and being scary* Canon Toy Freddy: *Raging at losing a game and blames you for it*
David has more ominous voices for them but the cannon ones fit the characters more since they are made to be appealing to kids, not to scare the children into never stepping foot near the restaurant
@@starwarsinfinitywargravity2779 I gotta agree with that, tho I still think that the canon ones are better (especially Nightmare BB,cause David Near's one HECK NO!)
Nightmare Freddy :"You can't Outrun me" Nightmare Freddy at FNAF Help Wanted Corridor minigame : Ok I will get you, just 10minutes to reach you who are 2meters away from me
Am I the only one who loves David Nears toy Freddy? Not just because I feel like the canon voice is too goofy and David Nears toy Freddy voice is actually really soothing
Some of the canon voices, I prefer (Like Nightmare Fredbear). And some of David's voices, I prefer (Like Nightmare Foxy). But overall, they both bring something unique and I enjoy them Personally, I'd pair David's Nightmare with canon's Nightmare Fredbear, now THAT'S a scary combo!
I have made a random headcanon for no reason: The voices done by David Near are when the souls are in control, are being forced to say something by someone, or are programmed to say that by someone. The canon voices are the animatronics natural voices without the souls, not programmed, and not forced. What do y'all think?
i will admit this, David Near's voices are very good but needs voice mods. alone its impressive by its self and more scary. the canon was literally made to be what they should sound like. both are great!!
For withered Bonnie, i think the canon voice actor did a better job at portraying him. Since he doesn’t have his face, he basically has only a jaw to talk with.
The canon voices are much better half the time. He's forcing creepyness into the characters. Them just having normal voices or cutesy ones add an air of unease
Ya don't forget the kids have been in there for over 20 fucking years and you expect them to talk to you in a cutey way well if i was a kid trapped inside a suit for over 20 years punished to sing repeated songs without anyone noticing that I'm a poor child and i have also lost my parents (and too much other stuff that I'm to lazy to write) ya i would say some fucked up stuff
I think that David Near is just making the kids into vengeful and threatening demonic adults, while the canon voices are just kids trying to be threatening but failing.
That’s why I love David’s more he actually tries to make them threatening intimidating and unnerving while Scott just makes them as dark but goofy and to only add clues to the ridiculous story in my opinion fnaf was good when it was mysterious and left up to the fans to figure out and decide with their theories irl short films creepypastas everything I miss the old days of fnaf

“I might accidentally poke you with it, maybe even gouge an eye out.” David Near rlly predicted one of the Fazbear Fright stories “You can be a pirate, but first you’ll have to lose an eye and an arm!”
I just realized how absurd it is the fact that his animatronics just says edgy stuff after every line. Feels off to the toys especially since they're probably not even possessed lol
In my opinion David nears fnaf voices are best and forever will be the best even if there are official voices out the main reason I like them is because they actually try to be intimidating and unnerving and takes themselves seriously while with Scott’s feels like more of slight darkness and jokes it feels like Scott is an employee at Nickelodeon and the higher ups gave him permission to put a pinch of dark stuff in his cartoon show it feels like he’s constantly trying to hold himself back with his games with his everything when putting horror in them the ratings on the upcoming fnaf movie also proves my point that he likes to hold himself back while the fandom doesn’t hold anything back whatsoever

Yes, The Puppet animatronic is male, but is possessed by the spirit of a young girl.
A grown ass man with that deep of a voice would not make any sense voicing a character intended to be Female, let alone an animatronic at a kids restaurant.
@@diacsquad1117 A GROWN ASS MAN HAHAHA
@@sansbehindtheslaughter No.
I like the canon voices more, personally cause the ones the kids see need to have nice voices as to not scare children, so the slight hint of silliness and less glitches in the voices work better overall, the Withered’s voices are perfect, they’re very old so their voices should be broken and heavily distorted
Personally, the Toy Chica Canon voice is so odd. A robot built to entertain the children should not sound *THAT* Sexual

Imma' bit Biased to Near's Voices because I remember when they were all released
But some of the Canon voices do fit better though
I have a question
I know they're vengeful spirits and they're angry, but why do they hate literally everyone?
Phone Guy from FNaF 1 explained it in the best way possible: "If I were forced to sing those same stupid songs for twenty years and I never got a bath? I'd probably be a bit irritable at night too."
judging by books and sister location, animatronics dont retain all of thier memories, and souls combine with animatronic programing in some way
process looks more or less like that
human dies
soul looses some memory
soul enters animatronic and overwrites it system with old memories that are left creating new "mind" for itself
animatronics coding is still inside souls new mind
only way for a soul to move on is to get revange, or give up, but thier most clear memory is agony that they felt when they died
they dont remember who exacly killed them, but they remember some features of this person
they arent agressive to everyone, only to the people that share features with thier killer
golden freddy is a bit harder to explain, especially because i dont know definitive answer
Agony isn't an emotion, per se.
Doesn't make much of a difference, tho...
0:16 wow he kinda predicted the “loose an eye and an armmm” thing lol
He did lol
I mean, David's Nightmare Freddy voice was kind of accurate on the deeper parts. Not to mention how almost spot on Nightmare Fredbear was.
Balloon boy the one voiced by David Near: He sounds like Elmo. 9:39
i like how it goes from “hi i’m balloon boy” to “HELP ME COUNT MY TEETH”
It seems you cloudn't make it to ny show so i brougth the show to you!

I wish David Nears voice for Marionette was cannon.
well that wouldn't make sense for the FNaF story and lore now wouldn't it?
The Marrionette is possessed by the spirit named Charlie if you don't know which is female.
@@Nifica Well obviously, people don’t know the gender of the marionette though. It is like the Mangle situation. The David Near voice is just more intimidating than the canon voice. I hope you understand what I’m saying here.
@@tyrite6805 it's possessed by a little girl of course it can't be intimidating
And Toy Freddy, Funtime Foxy and Nightmare too!
Nightmare balloon boy sounds like Elmo to me...😂
With nightmare Chica’s voice it’s ‘Greetings from the fire and from the one you should not have killed’
David Near: They gotta make it secret that they're killers.
Also David: DIE DIE DIE!
“And dragged down to hell....”
“ *THIS GAME IS TOTALLY RIGGED!* ”
I remember listening to David near’s voices before he took so many of the down there were good and to me they are the original voices for these characters
“ so i can eat YOU” sure ma’am i’ll take some head
Why do I expected Nightmare's voice to sound like MK11's Noob Saibot's voice?
I love david nears voice more it's scary like what they are supposed to be
These animatronics were a lot more hostile in David Near's eyes?
Short answer yes long answer correct
David Near's Withered Bonnie: "edge lord"
Cannon Withered Bonnie: Thank you, thank you. I'll be here all week.
"Papyrus UnderTale screams in the background"
I also prefer the canon Nightmare voice and the Nightmarionette voice. more than the David Near version.
Not like David is bad or anything. David Near's channel was around before UCN.
Why should we like one over the other? They're all equally fine, to me.
Withered Chica: “The pain of being dead”
Me: I understood that reference
David Near's Toy Freddy: *Talking about how the old models were replaced and being scary*
Canon Toy Freddy: *Raging at losing a game and blames you for it*
David has more ominous voices for them but the cannon ones fit the characters more since they are made to be appealing to kids, not to scare the children into never stepping foot near the restaurant
The best David Near voices are the Nightmares
@@starwarsinfinitywargravity2779 I gotta agree with that, tho I still think that the canon ones are better (especially Nightmare BB,cause David Near's one HECK NO!)
Nightmare Freddy :"You can't Outrun me"
Nightmare Freddy at FNAF Help Wanted Corridor minigame : Ok I will get you, just 10minutes to reach you who are 2meters away from me
Am I the only one who loves David Nears toy Freddy? Not just because I feel like the canon voice is too goofy and David Nears toy Freddy voice is actually really soothing
Some of the canon voices, I prefer (Like Nightmare Fredbear). And some of David's voices, I prefer (Like Nightmare Foxy). But overall, they both bring something unique and I enjoy them
Personally, I'd pair David's Nightmare with canon's Nightmare Fredbear, now THAT'S a scary combo!
David near version of foxy sounds like the white pumpkin
No one:
Non-cannon characters: *pain*

I prefer the canon voices. They just fit the characters way more in my opinion. Everyone has their opinions though, and that's only my opinion.
I have made a random headcanon for no reason:
The voices done by David Near are when the souls are in control, are being forced to say something by someone, or are programmed to say that by someone.
The canon voices are the animatronics natural voices without the souls, not programmed, and not forced.
What do y'all think?
That’s a cool headcanon!
@@supriseconfettiparty Thanks!
Nightmare Fredbear’s and Nightmare Puppet’s voices by David Near oddly fit
13:10 I could hear him saying "Well I'm starved, who wants some jambalaya?"
i will admit this, David Near's voices are very good but needs voice mods. alone its impressive by its self and more scary. the canon was literally made to be what they should sound like. both are great!!
It looks like a broken and distorted voice i think i prefer the canon voice
Comment from 2020: Nightmare's canon voice sounds like Venom. Am I the only one who thinks this, or is that what I'm hearing?
For withered Bonnie, i think the canon voice actor did a better job at portraying him. Since he doesn’t have his face, he basically has only a jaw to talk with.
You know for David nears voices you can always edit the voice to make it sound almost the same as canon. Like nightmare and nightmare freddy.
David did the right thing, he gave us voice ideas for the characters we loved before the official voices were made public
@@decomposingdave2902 But the old FNAF never left us? It's just that the new FNAF just consumed modern theorists.

I just realized how absurd it is the fact that his animatronics just says edgy stuff after every line. Feels off to the toys especially since they're probably not even possessed lol
The toys are definitely possesed. We see 5 new dead bodies in the minigame. But the original 5 are already possesed.
@@Skibbutz yeah forgot about that lol
Even possessed the edginess of David nears voices is too much.
I hate that. Why the animatronics have to say edgy stuff after every line?
I like David’s voices for some of them, but I do think the canon voices are cool too
The withereds of David near sound like the orginal
*i like david near’s version more*
These parts where Near tries to be some "demon" are unecessary. Yes, the animatronics are haunted, but not by some evil souls straight up from hell.
7:37 when you are bored and you see a pen
honestly david near sounds way better with the voices.
Huh this was recommended to me in 2021 and to be honest I like both sides they put a lot of time and effort into what they did
I think that David's voices could be a little more subtle with the hostility. But other than that, I think he did a better job.
Hostility is okay, especially for the withereds, but he’s gotta remember these are children’s spirits. They do t swear or give death threats.
David Near: Creepy and menacing.
Canon: Does fit but hardly taken seriously.
i feel like toy freddy would be a 25 year old still living in his parents basement letting video games consume him 🧍🏾♀️
In my opinion David nears fnaf voices are best and forever will be the best even if there are official voices out the main reason I like them is because they actually try to be intimidating and unnerving and takes themselves seriously while with Scott’s feels like more of slight darkness and jokes it feels like Scott is an employee at Nickelodeon and the higher ups gave him permission to put a pinch of dark stuff in his cartoon show it feels like he’s constantly trying to hold himself back with his games with his everything when putting horror in them the ratings on the upcoming fnaf movie also proves my point that he likes to hold himself back while the fandom doesn’t hold anything back whatsoever
