I would really like to look at the pitch bible, like, how did they manage to sell this show? What’s the amazing sell strategy or presentation to make that mess sound good? ಠ_ಠ
Just imagine if a city based series has this pitch meeting about a cartoon, that skyrockets down with bad things and creator gets depresion! But later, they listen to fans, what this series clould be better with and works with some other people, who know, how to make a series right! The creator could sometimes be a newspaper delivery guy, who rides on a bike through the city and streets to take a breath of fresh air! And then study with common sense friends and fans, how to make characters better, or hacc make a show about the characters, that are more loved than the protagonists! The creator could be a boy or a girl! And has a computer monitor, that acts as a pen display, where pen is also a mouse, like XP-PEN or Wacom? A tale of a journey of self discovery and potential and ideas from his friends and fans to make things better! or not..... Alright this comment is too long! Anyway! I liked that video, considering the hate of the guard spice. I liked the pitch meeting! How about you’ll also make a pitch meeting parody of another disaster, but maybe still likable "Cryptoland"
yall need to remember even if shifting tones in your planned TV show is an artistic choice.. do it consistantly and organically. you cant have 99% light hearted sit com then suddenly turn it into a {unspecified historical event invloving a certain religion in germany} moment because you feel like it. moments like that need to be earned by proper build up and transitions.
aa pfff!!.. Seriously?? This is Not what happend! >:C ... They started to write the storyboard while they were working on the First episode >XD!! so all they said was ''we got a trans And lesbians'' ''You are so in! have this money and make that anime''
The only problem with this is that these guys are male, all the writers are female, which is diverse apparently even though that's not what diverse means lmao.
I'm 90% sure that although it was written by women it was conditioned by men who were like "what's feminists? Is feminism a food?" Then they grabbed some extremist idiots and were like "ohh! A show! Done!"
Why do I get the vibe that this is how they actually pitched High Guardian Spice?
would not be surprised
@@guardianHQ You recreated the format of Ryan George's series really well.
I'm not convinced they didn't make a call with Netflix first to Air this series. 😂
@@Uta_Chandra.H From what I heard, the creator tried pitching it to Nickelodeon or Cartoon Network before finally landing on CrunchyRoll
Them meeting in stock images would've been excellent foreshadowing for the show
> Mentions an aspect of the main premise
> Refuses to elaborate
> Continues until having summarized the whole season
>still refuses to elaborate
>leaves
That got me at the part where lesbian is a "personality" lol. Guess rainbow hair and pronouns have a deeper meaning now
It’s so accurate, both on the pitch and the inspiration. It feels like something Ryan would write, great job!
I feel like the actual meeting was even less intelligible for some reason.
Compared to the characters in the actual show, the stock images have personalities
Ah, a fellow Ryan George fan, I see.
All them Pitch Meeting-isms are spot on, even their diction is very Ryan-y. Nice work.
That's more or less how I would imagine this Pitch Meeting to go. 😄
Also, loved the Witch Country Joke.
Which Country?
@@Bladez10 Exactly!
@@johannesseyfried7933 do you know which country?
@@doop4wow540 Yes.
"and then Rosemary asks if sleep is a food"
"Brilliant!"
I want a season 2 just so I could have another parody pitch meeting 😆😆😆😆
Are meetings a food
Yes Rosemary. They are.
Dave, I have the utmost respect for what you guys are doing.
The "Barely an inconvenience" and "Wow wow wow, wow" are just icing on the cake
This is more Ryan George than Ryan George is Ryan George...
Ryan George
I have always wondered how many of the shows got greenlit. I can see this being the pitch for HGS.
I do love me some healing water
I was rolling at the floor with this. I saw all the episodes through spill the milk
I would really like to look at the pitch bible, like, how did they manage to sell this show? What’s the amazing sell strategy or presentation to make that mess sound good? ಠ_ಠ
Inaccurate, the 2 people in here aren't lesbian women with brightly colored hair who think hating men is a personality
You pretty much explained the shows creators exactly
Not bad...but you forgot to mention the several SELF-INSERTS of not only the writers themselves, but also the director of the show!
Which country?
Witch country
idk that's why I'm asking you~
HA! I think Pitch meeting guy would approve of this parody.
I CANNOT BELIEVE HOW WELL WRITTEN THIS IS 🤣
Is it my idea or rosemary's hair just looks like the female co-protagonist from that nickelodeon series "harvey breaks"?
Oh my gosh she DOES. She looks like (I think her name was..) Fee from Harvey Beaks and Minki Momo from the show of the same name.
Even if the main series doesn't get a second season, we should pay the same animators to do a second season for the abridged version.

Being Straight or Gay is not a personality trait, that’s just sexual taste or interest too which I agree with this guy.
This really emulates pitch meeting well
We didnt even get into new magic vs old magic
You know if the actual pitch meeting channel did this it would exactly be like this lol
I just realized the article featured at the end of the video was from We Got This Covered. So you KNOW it's trustworthy!
That was sarcasm, by the way.
Accurate
Our pitch meeting was a hostage situation by gunpoint.
Me: "I bet it'll be hard to match Ryan's delivery."
Dave: "Actually it'll be super easy, barely an inconvenience!"
Underrated
Love the reference to the RUclips I like who makes parodys of pitches for shows
I fucking love that you’ve applied the Pitch Meeting video formula to this. Didn’t know I needed it until now.
I thought the pitch was going to make more sense, but I'm still lost after all that. This show man, it's a unwanted mess.
aa pfff!!.. Seriously?? This is Not what happend! >:C ...

unsettlingly accurate
I think you overestimate the writers' ability to plan this far into the season when they were pitching the show.
You should've used stereotypical Tumblr Girls😂
Minus ten points for not saying that something is tight
But this is still pretty accurate to a Ryan George skit
He did say "poisoning children is tight" at 2:35 tho.
@@mikai4738ah I stand corrected
It was too subtle for me to notice lol
Sounds legit.
Did you have to ask Screen Rant to make a parody of Pitch Meeting?
Damn, this was spot on.
Welp this feel like some documentary...
You sure this is a parody? Seems real to me
I thought there were two trans characters?
