Uniden CEZAI998 | Initial Checkout

The initial checkout of a Uniden 5.8 GHz corded/cordless telephone, model CEZAI998.. This is part of what we know now as the 'Loud & Clear' series, though I'm not sure if it carried that branding when it was originally sold.. 2 bases are shown in the video, a combination of parts will be used from each to make 1 good unit..

Excellent testing video of the Uniden CEZAI998 Telephone Set of 2 with Digital Answering System! I bought another answering machine today at First West Thrift Store At West Monroe, Louisiana & it's called the Sharper Image V-2000S-1 4-Mailbox Tapeless Digital Answering System. The names in the simulator can’t be changed.

The manual says nothing about registration or setting the security code, so you’re stuck with the handset-base pair you have.

Would be nice if it had an adjustable delay. Like you said makes it quite difficult to judge speaker functionality and quality without it.

I wonder if there’s some sort of device that could create a delay in the line feed. This isn’t a simulator-specific issue.

Traditional POTS lines don't have a delay, VOIP lines do. I wonder if there's a device that can take the outgoing audio and delay it before it comes out the other phone. Or you can drop the simulator altogether and use your cell + home lines as a testing pair.
I'm kind of confused as to why you have the simulator if you can just use 2 extensions on the PBX to do the testing.

A cellphone cannot be used for testing call quality, nor would I want either of those phone numbers appear in videos.

Jordan U Your number did accidentally appear in the GE 2.4 checkout in 2017 (not the white one), and in the RadioShack 43-143 refurbish video in 2016. Still don’t know why you got a simulator if you could use 2 extensions on the PBX. Is it because the PBX isn’t easily accessible to plug into?

Was the second base unit in the video listed on eBay a few weeks ago for 26.99 and coming from Massachusetts? I saw it and was considering buying it. Never got around to it. Glad it's going to good use.
