  • In todays video we watched some canola being swathed. Then did some maintenance around the corrals. Brought the Fendt 942 back to ‪@FullLineAgSalesLtd‬ , and finished off the day hauling some grain!

Fascinating canola information. First thing I thought was YIKES the pods will be bursting with that roller on them. Should have know that you wouldn’t do anything that stupid🤣. You know, boys will be boys, playing in the dirt; nothing better than a good old dirt bath. Great video Jan.

Awesome video again Jan! Liked the explanation on the canola like still cutting it few weeks before harvest because of the variety, but putting it on the swath and let it dry and finish, but to keep it in place to push it in the stubble with that nice roller. Looks as a nice crop. Interesting to know when it is finally combined. Hope it is still in place because some severe winds can cause lots of damage. Wide variety of activity going on with both dairy and arable, nice. Well done, enjoying it a bunch👌😉

6:45 Looks to me like they're after a dust bathing place. Maybe install one of those big scratching brushes on just a pole. No motors just stiff brushes they can itch against. I saw another channel install a discarded car wash brush in their goat yard as a scratching post. Might not stop it though. Instinctive behavior is tough to change.

The ones that are digging holes need the Back Brush for them to rub on. And the calf's could not have knocked those boards of like that, it was something on the other side knocking them in like that. So I would think.

Another great video, hard to believe it is harvest time already. Our summers are so short. Do you try when possible to lay your swaths E-W so the prevailing winds blow down them? It also helps from blowing them around. I saw one of those Fendt Combines heading west on a semi between Saskatoon and Langham last weekend. I had never seen a black combine before. They look pretty sweet.
