  • Dip stitches are the group of stitches where you work into the fabric below the stitches rather than into the stitches on the needles. It brings strands of yarn across the surface of the fabric to give a attractive texture.

    Lovely demo, thank you! Is the wool you are using in the hat portion of this tutorial still part of the kits that are available? I love it!

    I presume that having created 3 loops, decreasing by dropping 1, that on the next round you would slip 1, k2tog, psso to decrease back to original count?

      Monique Groom Yes, a decrease is worked later, unless the increase in sts was required for shaping or something. 🙂
