Maan i never trusted maven even a bit from the start and wanted cal and mare together...... i was startung to accept maven but then he betrayed ......But still his betrayal hurt me ....

Mare and maven are so perfect together because they want to kill each other and love each other at the same time and they can't live without each other. Raven forever 😍
The author should have redeemed Maven. That would have been a better loving story. Like once his mind was fixed he could have spent the last book dealing with the horrible things he did. It could have worked if his mother hadn’t messed with his mind until right before he betrayed Mare. So their love would have been real on both sides. His betrayal was “shocking” and interesting but it got old fast because I knew he was going to die. Overall there just wasn’t enough of a love story in the books for me to truly enjoy them. I thought Throne of Glass had just enough while telling a larger and more complicated story. I couldn’t even read the second book, I had to listen to the audiobook because I kept falling asleep!
This isn't at all how i imagine Maven and Mare.I imagine they as teenagers:) Mare:a short girl with big eyes and short brown-dark hair Maven:a tall boy with small,blue eyes and short dark hair Mare:17 y.o Maven:17 y.o Cal:18-19 y.o Evangeline:18 y.o
Mare actually has long brown hair with gray ends, she says in the first book that most cut their hair to hide the gray ends, but she does not. (I hope this doesn’t sound bossy uwu)
Practically perfect in everyway. (Like if you got the quote.) My only complaint is that Mare is supposed to have purple lightning, not blue lightning. It really comes into play during the end of the series
Spoiler Alert I loved Maven so much. I wish he didn’t die. He wasn’t a complete monster in the very end. You could see it in his last encounters with Mare and Cal. He didn’t destroy Cal’s emotions when he could’ve, and I believe he let Mare kill him.
