Just reread the first 3 books of the series after 10 years since the first time I ever did and oh…I may be 23 now, but my teen heart still loves this pair so much! Still wishing they were real 🤣 I hope Netflix does the series justice in their adaptation.

Start with Song of the Witch Kingdom ( A Throne of Glass Theme ) That woman is incredibly talented and writes the most beautiful songs. Nobody else comes close when it comes to songs written about books or movies. If you’re a fan, there’s no way you won’t love them. I listen to them almost every day. And if you think you’ve found better, then I’m all ears and want to know immediately.

The author should have redeemed Maven. That would have been a better loving story. Like once his mind was fixed he could have spent the last book dealing with the horrible things he did. It could have worked if his mother hadn’t messed with his mind until right before he betrayed Mare. So their love would have been real on both sides. His betrayal was “shocking” and interesting but it got old fast because I knew he was going to die. Overall there just wasn’t enough of a love story in the books for me to truly enjoy them. I thought Throne of Glass had just enough while telling a larger and more complicated story. I couldn’t even read the second book, I had to listen to the audiobook because I kept falling asleep!
