Castlevania III - Beginning (Modern remix)

Let's bring this track into the 21st century. At 1:53 I also tacked on the map screen theme, Destiny. Two tracks in one! I wanted to make something using only real instruments, no synths! So now we have rock/metal since that's my second favorite genre...
I love this series so much and I'm so, so, sosososo happy that it's finally getting some love after so much stagnation through the 2010s. Netflix season 2 and Simon+Richter in SSBU? im excited. Plus we're gonna get some tasty remixes of oldschool CV tracks... Nintendo's version of this will be a lot more professional-sounding, but I'm excited to see what direction they're gonna take it.
I can't wait for SSBU. Hurry up, December. Hurryyyyy

I'm like unreasonably excited that Snake is back in. I think Konami sees this as a low-cost high-reward move to get back into some fan's good graces; they don't have to do any active development if they let Nintendo handle their characters for them.

I submitted a remix to them a long time ago and never heard back, not even a rejection. I think mine could have just fallen through the cracks but I was pretty bummed out by it lol. The requirements for their submissions are also rather strict (at least two minutes of non-repeated content, which this remix of Beginning already doesn't meet) and I don't really feel like stressing out over the details much. Maybe I'll submit something again in the future though.
