I think the city lost about half it's population since its heydays. The cold winters, very heavy snowfall, and not enough sunny days has also contributed to the decline of the populous. But, it doesn't seem to have the very poor and trashy neighborhoods like Baltimore or Philadelphia has.

It could be a nice city if not 50% blacks there. May be little less,but still it is a half black population, according to officials
