Christy O'Connor Senior: 50 Years at Royal Dublin

In 2009, Christy O'Connor Senior celebrated 50 years at Royal Dublin Golf Club. This video was compiled and produced by Shane O'Donoghue to mark the milestone.
The tribute featues Gary Player, John Jacobs, Padraig Harrington, Arnold Palmer and Peter Alliss. Christy O'Connor Senior died, aged 91, in Dublin on May 14th, 2016.

Pure genius hero growing up still is

it was the way he positioned his head towards the top of his backswing that was key. he toppled at the top. and, that gave his swing the "lazy authority" that john jacobs alludes to. i watched christy practice 50 years ago; and, was mesmerised by his swing.
