Gorgeous card Jennifer! Thanks for the tip about adding the paper to the back of the felt. I have had problems with my felt tearing when trying to remove it from my dies so now I know what to do about it - YAY!
Jennifer this reminds me of my youth too. This is so homey looking and old fashioned I just love it. Anyone receiving this would keep it as a keepsake.. Just loved this. pat
Thanks so much for sharing. I've begun to use felt on my cards but ran into some of the problems you mentioned. Never thought of backing it with paper. Two thumbs up!
Hello Jennifer! Love this card. Love that it looks like you spent hours appliquéing or embroidering! Thanks for the wonderful tip gluing the paper to felt for sturdiness. That's so awesome and I will definitely use that idea!! You rock!!
What a pretty and sweet card. Gosh what a great idea I've never die cut felt and as far as that goes I can use felt with my Cricut gosh what a great idea. I love all of your sweet special touches of the hand stitching. What a fun video packed with inspiration. YOU ROCK!! Joan Smith
I just got some felt and dies for Easter eggs and was having a terrible time with it. Now I can't wait to get some glue sticks and try the paper backing. I was about to give up on the felt.
Thank you so much for sharing this! I have been cutting out felt on my Pazzles Inspiration Vue machine and I never thought to glue it to paper. I have been using Wonderunder and that works alright, but I am definitely going to try using the felt with paper. Your cards are so beautiful and thanks for all the inspiration!
I haven't used anything other than paper for the regular type dies. The Bigz I cut all sorts of stuff with. I'll have to try that and see if it will cut on my machine. The look of felt was really pretty though. My medium of choice these days is aluminum cans. So much fun with the alcohol inks to color on them. :)
Adding the paper to the felt is genius. I am just wondering if you have ever experienced the glue stick separating from the paper or in this case the felt. I made a really pretty Xmas card (make n take) where we applied glue stick to apaper layer to the front of a card. My daughter said the layer was apart when she opened the envelope. She lives in upstate NY. I don't know if the cold temps had anything to do with it. I don't remember what brand of glue stick we used.
Love this card and using felt sounds so fun. Did you use card stock or lighter weight paper for the paperbacking on the felt? Actually I watched it again and heard you say you used typing paper, so never mind my question.
Thank you so much Jennifer. My Gemini Jnr. does not cut through the felt. I put some cardstock as you said back of felt, yet still not cutting. Advice please. Best wishes. Jo
Love your card and really appreciate all your great tips! Putting paper on the back of my felt is going to help immensely--especially for those touchy word dies.
Great video. Die cutting felt and fabric too is actually some of my favourite ways to decorate cards. Lots of dies are great for appliqué too ;-) Thanks for sharing.
Just bought all the dies, I've watched most of your videos and saw in one you have a electric cutter- cameo I think. Maybe Silhoutte not sure , have you ever had any luck cutting felt with it. ? Anyone else that may be reading this, I would love to know how you prepared the felt. Ty!
Hi Jennifer, can you please tell me where I can purchase these die cuts, especially the ones with the word HAPPY? btw I love your work. Thanks for sharing all your amazing creations. xx
Thanks so much for sharing the tip about cutting felt ... this will work so well for the Halloween costume I am making to cut snowflakes for the costume skirt ;)
You are not only one of the craftiest people ever, you go the extra on every project!! 💯%!!
Thanks for the tip about the paper backing. I have tried to die cut felt before with mixed results. Now I will use the paper backing. Beautiful card!
Great tip using the paper. I used felt snowflakes on my cards last year, most cut without a problem, but I did have a few that tore.
Would ironing freezer paper to the felt work as well as gluing paper? That would be easier if it works!

I love using felt but didn't think I could use intricate dies with it. Now I know how! You do the best videos. Thanks so much!
The paper backing on felt is a fantastic idea.
I would never have thought to use felt on a card. What a great idea and love the dies.

The felt cut card is a great idea. I love the it reminds me of spring.
I really liked the tip about putting the felt on paper. I had tried felt before and it wanted to tear. Pretty card.
Also meant to add, wonder how spray starch would work. I use that for my burlap, muslin and denim and it works well.
Super cute. Trying to get my Pazzles Vue to cut some felt today. Wish me luck.

Thank you for the right way of putting paper under the felt
Thank you so much Jennifer. My Gemini Jnr. does not cut through the felt. I put some cardstock as you said back of felt, yet still not cutting. Advice please. Best wishes. Jo

What a great tip when using felt.... I will have to try this. You are so creative. Thanks again!
Thank you for this great idea. I would not have thought of cutting the felt with the die cutter. Cute card too.
So sweet! I love the effect with the felt. Thanks so much for telling us about backing with typing paper. That is a great trick! tfs
Really cute! Thanks for all these helpful hints for working with felt!! A lovely card!
Can I use the did cuts to use instead of regular felt you use with the ink blender with the inks???
Excellent video as always, Jennifer. Thank you for your hard work. This card is beautiful!
You are always bringing me something new and innovative. Thanks for sharing!
Great tutorial, very clear and helpful. Thanks, Jennifer!
Instead of gluing the felt to paper, try using freezer paper. You iron a piece to the back of your felt and then pull it off easily when done.
