@felipeaquitral I think they are doing an amazing job with adding some additional content. I know there are those who will scream "not canon," but the author has stated they felt the series was rushed. So, Ufotable adding content is great. I wish they would add some of the light novel stuff.
The paper airplane bit was a tad random, but it was just so wholesome. You have to remember Muichiro and Tanjiro are young teenagers. Really, just kids. There childhoods were ruined by demons, and it’s likely that’s the case for many of the lower rank slayers as well. So a moment of reprive like that was really sweet, and I’m glad something comforting was added to the episode

@@brokenamvs9707 the first flight in Japan was in 1910 according to the internet, the Taishō period dates from 1912 to 1926, so there prob were planes. but i agree that it's a bit weird considering that Tanjirō doesn't know butter or pancakes and didn't know trains until Mugen. my guess is that Tanjirō could know that those where called paper planes, but never saw an actual plane? also, you may see planes in the sky even if you're a poor guy from the country, but you'll have to go to a train station to see a train, and butter and pancakes were just introduced in the Meiji period and usually only rich ppl had those. so it's not thaaaat weird that Tanjirō knows planes.

ppl fighting over powerscaling is so meh. and i love how this ep deals with it xd all Hashira are around the same strenght, the only clear anomaly is Gyōmei. is that simple.

This is probably my least favorite season of Demon Slayer tbh. I remember in the manga the Hashira Training arc was over so quickly I didn't think they could possibly make it an entire season. But they're managing to drag it out, and it's really dragging...thankfully next season should be the best season of the entire show.
