That’s some nice croakers y’all caught. Nice video, looks like fun. In doctor’s lake do you use shrimp or worms or both? I’ve heard you can use worms there, never fished that area…brackish water in that area?
Yes sir I used the big Canadian nightcrawlers you can get at Academy I use those in the early spring and in late fall along with the shrimp. My rule on the shrimp as if you would need it don't fish with it I really like to use as fresh as I can get ahold of thanks for watching and keep your great videos coming on your channel!
Yes this is a private dock but not far from here there's Rob Bradley public park off Plainfield. It has plenty of parking and you can fish there I would suggest using surf poles or suppose where you can get out pretty deep but I've been getting good reports of reds and trout from there. The trout seem to hang closer to the bridge I've only caught a couple up there on the flats where I fish off my doc. Thanks for watching and good luck on your trip go get them
@@lukemccardle2379 I was using shrimp here but I have used both in the past I feel like I stand a better chance at other fish like Reds and black drum if I'm using shrimp. But the key is to use a little larger chunk about the size of your thumbnail on a number four or number two hook that way if the little saltwater cats come up pecking the bigger fish will come by and say nobody that's my dinner. Thanks for watching and good luck on your next trip
@@dragemoutfishing1222 Is there a public spot on Doctors Lake I could access I live out in Lake City ,but would be willing to drive over their to fish?

Real Good video. Great family day.
