Mid Diaochan also got another indirect buff through the new battle spell, Prison Sprite. With it, she could lockdown her targets to prevent them from escaping her ult's radius. The slow from her passive's proc also makes it easier to trigger the immobilize CC from Prison Sprite

@@kyouitv Yeah, the monthly theme kinda suggest that it'll be removed on the next month, though it's still pretty unclear. It's a shame if it's true since the spell does improve some heroes' viability like Arthur (perfect spell for his all-in playstyle), tank Heino (gave him an actual team utility outside of just being a frontlining meat shield), and Gao (allow him to sets up CC for his combo by himself without relying on his team).
If it DOES get removed, hopefully they bring it back in the future in some ways, maybe as a new active ability for an item perhaps ?
The only thing she lacks is stopping enemy movement and here goes the prison sprite…with it she is kinda unstoppable 😂
Level Infinite should make more of these kind of changes where heroes who are locked into a single role/lane can be viable in other roles and lanes . Especially with Jungle heroes!
Let players be able to play heroes like Zhao Yun Top, Dian Wei Top, hell even Cirrus Top. I kid you not I played Cirrus Top and his abilities work pretty well on that lane.
And this isn't just towards Jungle heroes. Other heroes like Marco Polo can be played Mid just like Lucian. And many more.
Guess what I'm saying is that the game shouldn't restrict heroes into a singular role.
But I can understand people not wanting to play off-meta which is understandable.
Any thoughts?
I'm really skeptical about CL Cirrus, like, what's exactly his main selling point over other CL ? His terrain ignore is unique, but doesn't really come to play in CL where you just stuck doing 1v1 and clearing the waves. I guess there's also his ult, which is decent enough as a gank ability, but there are several CL with equally or straight up stronger gank plays than him like Biron, Sun Ce and Mayene. As a scaling CL, i don't think he's worth more over stuffs like Fuzi, red Li Xin, or Nezha.
His lack of reliable sustain also bug me. I can't really imagine Cirrus winning dmg trade AT ALL against the average CL heroes, which mean he'll pretty much just become a passive laner, something which could be abused by proactive players to gank other lane while Cirrus is stuck clearing the minions.
Lastly, putting him in CL would mean he won't be taking any buffs, probably for the entire game if he has buff-dependent jungler. While he doesn't use mana, i feel like not having blue buff's CDR + red buff's bonus dmg are just too crippling for him
As for heroes having multiple roles in HoK, i think the game is doing well on that part, whether it's intended by the dev or not. I mean, Yuhuan isn't really meant to be jungler at first, but because pros were spamming her there during the pro scenes on last season, the dev adapt that and made it "official" to put it roughly.
Also, most of the players (in global server, at least) felt discouraged by HoK's built-in role queue and think that they couldn't pick off-role heroes, which is understandable. Given enough time, i think the playerbase will start to do off-role more.
One last thing, this isn't fully tied to HoK, but it's also pretty fun mix-matching heroes to other role based on their counterparts in OTHER GAMES. For example, i'm having fun trying Mai in CL just because her kit is pretty similar to MLBB's Guinevere, who is primarily an offlaner

Cirrus in top doesnt really fit him, it just makes his ult passive useless since the purpose of his passive is to roam around the map, blocking enemy's path and pick off their carry.

But yes! He has good sustain and is already tanky, so I just beef him up more. He also has very good CC so it can definitely help your mm or mid when it comes to escaping or engaging, and finally, he does enough damage to steal buffs. I usually have heal or smite depending on what I want to do but give it a try!

@@stephwu8 In late game, he's just way too squishy while his dmg is not bursty enough to make up for it, so any MM could delete him before he even reached them

Probably caused by the server being affected by the new update, whose size is pretty big to be fair. Give it some times, hopefully the dev fix it soon
