I find that bind is amazing especially for zoning a front liner like barbs if you run with range teammates. Combining slow and bind is terrifying for single targets that rush or kite for 1 fatal blow to most those classes is extremely fatal
Bind is awful in all situations but when you run with 2 ranged behind you. Even then, .75 is just long enough for them to attach once for a ranger so your rangers better both be headhunters with good LOS at the time of bind and reaction time guys.
Do you have a guide for Drunken Cleric? I've been searching around trying to find either a Drunken Cleric Build or Warhammer Cleric Build but cant find either.

What stats increase the amount you heal others?
Magical healing seems to only increase healing you receive from others, including healing yourself with spells and potions, not when you heal others. Is this correct?
I would also like to know how this works
is it viable to solo with one, for when friends are offline and you still wanna level/collect gear?
Absolutely, judgement is an insane pvp spell that basically guarantees one kill when used correctly to finish someone. Cleric solo runs suffer from chest looting but if youre willing to run a bit quicker and focus more on breakables for loot you can have a lot of effectiveness. In the goblin solo mode in particular cleric is very effective due to having a fast starter weapon to kite the goblins and health through mistakes. The only deaths ive taken solo as cleric are 1v2+ situations and not finding a portal in the goblin mode.
@@derricklittle5591 I'm just bad then, ok lol. I haven't been able to extract once with mine. Get overrun or never find a portal.
One of my high roller cleric friends, NevixTTV, uses Mace Swings + Bind + Judgement to execute people. It is always hilarious.

Movement speed....Don't wear more then 2 pieces of heavy gear...and i personally preffer knowledge over Will for faster cast speed..

What I've been doing, and I just started this Playtest
If we hear players, I buff myself and get a +3 wis(so my dudes get longer buffs)
Then I buff my dudes for their +3s
I give divine strikes to our melee(+20 damage per swing), then I bubble him, switch targets to our ranged dps, bubble him, then switch to greater heal and have it casted and ready to shoot immediately at our melee.
If you get the timing down right, as soon as a barb goes in to smash your barb or fighter in the noggin, you can let that heal go as he's swinging and your melee won't actually lose much health, and you're freed up to start casting again
I'm loving the healer role in this game, I generally always run a healer in every team based game I can, but this feels sooooooooooo good. Especially for a playtest.

if you have a ranger with quick shot up, divine strike them before, they can triple shot with additional magic damage. pretty sick. anything with a fast atk is crazy with divine strike, since its a flat buff
I was confused about what made the healing better, so its confirmed that Will makes your healing better? On top of +Magical healing?
Will makes buffs last longer and heals bigger.... + healing makes heals hit bigger.. I don't like his guide on gear, Movement speed is #1 stat you want and honestly never wear more then 2 pieces of heavy gear the rest should be leather or even 1 cloth piece. personally i preffer knowledge over Will you cant heal a dead guy so knowledge makes you cast faster, faster cast speed means you can push heals out faster.

The new spell on cleric says it heals friendlies in an area and damages undead in an area, do we know if that friendly designation includes other teams yet? If not it will be a strong pvp spell
I'm not sure about the new AOE heal, but if you cast a heal onto an enemy then it will not heal them. I have tested this personally
The new AoE heal needs to be Reworded. Heals "Players" in an AoE and damages undead. So no... dont use it in PvP or you will be healing your enemies.
@@Legohaiden in that case, I totally healed the whole battle a couple times... Idk if my settings aren't high enough but I get no visual indicator on where the edges of the healing aura are.
It does, I was behind a wall while we were fighting a team, I stood inside the their sanc and I got healed.
AOE heal is busted tbh. I have steam rolled a few teams when caught on my back foot using the new spell.
Is there a way to get spells back mid game? There was a point in a game where all my spells reset and I have no idea how I did it.

Is it possible to play Cleric alone?
very much so, but you need to take different skills and abilities. Mace buff, Damage reduction, Undead Damage, and Advanced healing, then take the Holy purification for the 45 sec aoe blast to undead. Wear Full plate, use a morning star and round shield. You are only slightly less effective then a Fighter with the ability to heal and buff yourself. For spells I take, Lesser Heal, Protection, Bless, and the Weapon buff... or you can use Holy light instead of the buff, both are good. You will absolutely Shred the Undead, and still stand strong vs players.
@@Legohaiden this build is great^ only thing I do different is run judgment instead of holy purification for PVP. It’s unexpected damage and it’s unavoidable if they’re in range. Try to balance movement speed, if you can land a judgement, get a couple hits in and kite until judgement comes back, then you have a good chance of winning the fight
Also look up drunk cleric builds if you wanna be a crazy solo PVP cleric

this is old data... from the second playtest. We are on the 4th. Its still not a terrible guide... but there are more efficient ways to play cleric now, while still having the Rez option. Rez + Rez buff can literally turn a run from a wipe into a win.
Res is still 8 memory there is no way around that. Unless you have some really good gear its trash and not worth sacrificing 4 other spells to get it.
@@lovepack54 I see your point... but I really like being able to pick up my squad mate on location, its super helpful... and he runs a cleric with the other spells (aoe heal and light blast)
I dont understand why you recommend staff over mace, the mace swings are a nice arc and the staff swings much slower. Am I missing something?

its a meme, just use the mace for combat, it does more dmg and you can have a shield out to defend yourself
ye idk, the aoe dmg is nice and all, but if you're pvp oriented slowing down a barb or someone trying to rush you with judgement gets a lot more value imo, the pve is kind of a joke esp with gear in 3 mans.
judgment also hurts team mates :)
@@Moogle Thats true but, its literally auto aimed to where your crosshair is at the start of your cast, very easy to use. It can also hit up to like 70, with good gear. Its just a much better ability for pvp in general.
yes and no, clearing rooms faster and looting faster lets you get into positions to pvp faster and better, and lowers the chances of getting ambushed.
think about how much time you can save in the big room if you do the flying skulls if cleric goes mid and 1shots all 10 of them.
thats the time your entire team was vulnerable and now isnt. I still prefer judgmeent on my cleric but I think the other one is still perfectly valid choice.
@@leonidrex3499 yeah idk about that, when you go in with the intent to kill other players and you're all bringing gear, the cleric being able to one shot bats/mummies isn't really a concern. I can understand if the entire group is ratting though. If you're killing a wraith, centaur or larger mob just tell your barb fighter to tank up and sanctuary it down. Just make sure the homies bring campfires or better yet run with a hunter.
wouldn't azadim be the overall rank #1? also some stats on the leaderboard are super arbitrary (treasure collector, escape artist, etc). What do the points mean in Veteran Adventurer? Adventurer coins earned?
Be honest, you're only rank 1 overall because you had good teammates to support.
